The one thing that I have learned from this amazing series with Marty Jannetty is that he is such a genuine, kind-hearted man. This is somebody that you can just tell is a decent and humble person that truly cares about people.
I’ve met Marty personally in recent years before COVID. I didn’t really get the chance to meet him during his wrestling years. I agree with you that Marty is genuine and he has the best of intentions.
Marty is a Good person! I LOVE listening to these bc I feel He is telling truth and Ive yet to hear Him bash anyone. Hope the best for the guy

Marty for all his faults and flaws, we all have them but Marty is a genuine good dude with a heart. He's the guy that would help you with your struggles before he deals with his own.
If any dentist is watching this, please offer to fix Marty's tooth. He is obviously very self conscience about it. He seems to be a great guy, and could use some help from his fans.
I have to agree with Marty on something I mentioned: The wrestling sites are quick to report on when he “does something bad.” Yet if he does something meaningful like making an appearance and spending time with children at charity events, that’s when the sites are selectively blind to these. Even in recent years prior to COVID, Marty made appearances at charity events including Toys For Tots. I remember him mentioning that during the event, there was a tornado that was about to hit the area and everyone had to get to safely. I’m not saying that Marty flawless by any means, but I couldn’t help but notice that the wrestling sites DIDN’T take notice of what was happening. Yes it’s “bad news is good news” for them but like all the sites, they conveniently forget that like all of us, Marty is a human being! I’ve met him personally and I can definitely say that he is genuine and has a kind heart. I also believe that those weren’t crocodile tears when he was talking about Little Joey and how the impact of his death affected him. Thanks for this great interview. I wish I was available to watch it on a live streaming basis...hopefully another time.
When I listen to Marty it's like listen to a guy that doesn't have an agenda,
Isn't trying to be hired back by somebody,
And just telling a few stories.
It's a breath of fresh air.

Having a big heart, getting emotional and crying is nothing to be ashamed of. I was so glad to hear about Shawn and Marty meeting kids through Make A Wish. What they did for the kids and their families was so kind and Marty's story was very touching. ❤️

And Dan...God Bless ya buddy! Your patience....with MJ is truly remarkable and should be a lesson for myself and others in a little mercy and grace....Marty is sometimes MORE to handle than others....but watching over the weeks and seeing the comradery between the two of you grow... Anyhow, IF MJ wasn't a bit OVER THE TOP from time to time he wouldn't be Marty Jannetty...and it's admirable because Marty was wound for sound here and you handled it very well.
I really hope this series is able to continue....and I mean that Thursday Nights are my GO TO wrestling night of the week! HAPPY HOLIDAYS to the entire Boston Wrestling MWF Family.

Got to see Flair in Great American Bash 85 and Flair vs Savage in 96 at Norfolk Scope ,he went 60 minutes both times and was great!

Marty is a tortured soul it's a shame to see because he's a decent hearted man. He's so many issues that needs addressed. Without sounding like a an old bore or college lecturer - that's what a lifetime of partying does to you (demons, fear, regrets, emotional wreck, issues for life) - it's good at the time but that's the end result for a lot of folk.
