This song brings me a feeling that I just can't explain, it's a feeling of emptiness, more at the same time of happiness, joy and motivation to follow my own path in my own life 💙
When I was eight I knew I wanted to be a surgeon. I was a special-ed student with a severe speech impediment but I didn't care. I needed to become a surgeon. I would spend hours studying information that majority of ppl would spend no time studying. But I didn't care. I overcame my speech impediment and tested out of special-ed and now I'm attending a pre-med school. Though, lately, I want to give up on my dream. I study harder than everyone but yet score lower than them on tests. I have severe anxiety while testing and it's gotten to the point where I just can't think straight but when this happens I stop and think about my eight-year-old self and how I watched as the surgical team saved a family member close to me and tell myself there's no other option than this. Without medicine, I have no purpose. This song reminds me of my eight-year-old self every day.
I want to be a great music producer and sound engineer but the more I go through college the more I've come to realize that I have to choose between having a stable career or chasing my greatest passion. I like to think that half of this song is singing about that same passion. I wish you luck, hoping this comments not a copypasta but genuine.

When I was eight I knew I wanted to be a surgeon. I was a special-ed student with a severe speech impediment but I didn't care. I needed to become a surgeon. I would spend hours studying information that majority of ppl would spend no time studying. But I didn't care. I overcame my speech impediment and tested out of special-ed and now I'm attending a pre-med school. Though, lately, I want to give up on my dream. I study harder than everyone but yet score lower than them on tests. I have severe anxiety while testing and it's gotten to the point where I just can't think straight but when this happens I stop and think about my eight-year-old self and how I watched as the surgical team saved a family member close to me and tell myself there's no other option than this. Without medicine, I have no purpose. This song reminds me of my eight-year-old self every day.
I want to be a great music producer and sound engineer but the more I go through college the more I've come to realize that I have to choose between having a stable career or chasing my greatest passion. I like to think that half of this song is singing about that same passion. I wish you luck, hoping this comments not a copypasta but genuine.
