- Simple philosophy but one of the most beneficial and important. Use it with major scales, chords, technical exercises and even away-from-the-piano stuff. Also applies to repertoire difficulties. I really encourage you to do this, making notes of tempo markings and watching yourself get quicker and quicker. Eyes closed as much as possible, of course!
