Grand Nain Banana Grows from a Small Plant to a Banana Tree in 6 Months

Watch this banana plant grow from a small plant to the size of a tree in 5 months. The Grand Nain produces bananas that have the same taste as those found in grocery stores. That's because it is the same as the Chiquita brand of bananas.
I found the Grand Nain banana plant for sale on eBay for $9.99. I also purchased two other tropical plants the Alocasia Calidora and Colocasia Gigantea from the same seller for the same price plus shipping. All three are planted in my tropical garden.
My banana plant did not produce any bananas this year. But it did grow a few baby offshoots that I will propagate when they get bigger. I hope to propagate enough Grand Nain banana plants to have Chiquita bananas all summer long. The Grand Nain looks great in my tropical garden with it's large green leaves. I can't wait until I get to enjoy these tasty bananas from my Grand Nain.

You are wrong in the name you provided colocasia gigantea . This is not a banana. This is an elephant ear. You are confused. may be you are talking about Musa acuminata 'Grande Naine'. Please watch your video again and correct the mistake. thanks

Thanks for watching. There were three different plants in the video, one banana and two elephant ears. All three were shown at the beginning and end of the video, because I purchased all three at the same time.
The banana was the plant that was being highlighted during most of the video as I was showing it growing at various times from day 1 to 156. The elephant ears were only shown on day 1 and at 5 and 6 months later. Sorry for the confusion.
