I shed tears reading 2 parts of dan da dan, this acro silky story and another character i wont spoil. I shed tears watching the episode aswell and even when i showed my older brother i was emotional. He got emotional at the aira saying bye to her mommy in the coffin and he understood deeper the segment better. He was like why the fuck are you making me watch this 🥲 ugh..

As a child who was raised by a single parent, this story really made me think about how great my mother's struggle was until now I am 30 years old, she raised me well and full of love, I love you more than anything, mom ❤️

After episode 7, this now gets my vote. I love Frieren, but there wasn't a single episode that had me thinking about it for several days like episode 7 of Dandadan has. Even hearing the music brings back the emotions. If they can keep this quality, this is going to be a powerful series to behold.

I am a manga reader but the manga scenes are sad but they don't make me cry like the anime. Thank you to all the staff who made the atmosphere and animation more dramatic.

It's an excellent story, and is slow in revealing deeper lore. The art, characters, and scenes make it well worth the read.

The manga absolutely made me cry. The anime made me cry again.
The music. The score truly carried this into a deeper realm altogether. This was so tragic and beautiful and depressing. It was a masterpiece.

I dropped dandadan after 4 episodes but my friend recommended me to restart that again so i watched ep 5,6 and 7 and....this turns to be one of the best anime ive ever seen...❤

This episode didn't have to go so hard 😭. I wasn't expecting their whole sad story to be told without a single word.
I was floored to see the spectacle of Silky's back story. Beauty and pain. A longing love never to go away. I cried and it meant something. To hurt so much is the way of beautiful art. Disturb the comfortable and comfort the disturbed
I'm much more of a manga guy. I usually read mangas and then drop the anime early on when it gets adapted because I've already read it and I lose interest.
But man, the music really elevated this episode. What an amazing adaptation this is.
I knew the moment I read that in the manga I'd cry when this was animated
I didn't read the manga but I saw a lot talking about the mother dancing in the ledge and that explains the thud I heard after her daughter said thank you for everything and explains why nobody else saw her but Aira
This is the same person who also did the soundtrack for The Dangers In My Heart this year! Talk about diversity! Incredible!

I hadn't read the manga before getting into the anime, so this episode was just out of nowhere in this usually silly story, and I cried pretty hard. Later, I made my friend watch the anime with me from the start, who also knew nothing about it. I'm glad to say he also sobbed at that part. Amazing animation and music.

I haven't touched the next episode or any Anime since this episode Aired. The last time an Anime/Manga broke me like this is Grave of the Fireflies/Oyasumi Punpun.
