I was 21 in the summer of 89. I had a girlfriend who would put out flyers when op ivy was playing. I want to say I saw them 3 times, but it could have been 2. One of the best times going to the cannery on Gilman Street and watching 5 bands for 7 bucks. Bad ass time to be alive.
The Interrupters should do a tribute album of Rancid and Operation Ivy songs. They could give the money to charity or keep it to themselves, either way I’d buy that album on day one. I just want to tell the Interrupters that their music saved my life when my ex wife left me after over 20 years together. There music is so powerful it gave me hope when I was ready to give up. Thank you I hope the band sees this, thank you so much!
Why? They’re already produced and coached by Tim. They’ll never be as good or interesting as the originals. I’d not spend the money on it and just listen to the real thing
The interrupters are like a ska punk version of a paint by number recreation of a van Gogh. Most of the important elements are there but just laboriously placed.
look up green days cover... i love this, same vibe, the dude is killing the lyrics, this band did it 1,000 times better then greenday lol this is good oh and also he definitely did not sensor shit, loud and clear at about 38 seconds

My friend called them the Miley Cirus of ska.
As a kid and being from where they are from…and these songs being a huge part of who I became…thank you. What a great cover.
Pit looks fun.

@@cameronnewman9362Green Day never covered this song
This band is so cheesy
They didn't deliver.... Too busy looking crisp and camera ready

Who the fack are you?
I think they crushed it. They paid homage well and no one cares about you.
