How to Add Subtitles in Descript

You can use Descript to add subtitles to your videos. First, login to the Descript editor dashboard and upload your video. Second, the transcript will first pop up on your video. Edit that and make sure the text is perfect because these are also used as your subtitles. Third, click on the captions and subtitles feature. You can then choose the style of subtitles you want on your video. Fourth, you can then move around the location of where you want the subtitles located. Once finished, export your video to your computer.

For some reason, when I download with the caption style I choose. it shows double captions. how do I avoid that? (I hope I asked correctly)
