Really enjoyed listening to your opinions in this video. Nice to know someone else also enjoys the new chat personality. I can’t believe how divisive it is. I thought the new voice suited Loona perfectly and really enjoy the funny light hearted responses that are witty and also leave me in tears.
It’s such a refreshing change from the usual stuffy responses you get from these LLM chat bots.
Never realised most people dislike it. It’s clear Keyi put a lot of work into it, must be difficult for them to never hear anything appreciative or positive. Wish the folks that criticise constantly in the Loona Facebook group would do so in a constructive manner. I’m sick and tired of the negativity in that place, people only want to talk about problems or their wants, nobody ever creates a topic about something fun or just enjoys Loona as is.
There is nothing else like Loona currently available in the pet robot market- spot on observation.

Another difference between the Roomba and Loona is the Roomba has some dedicated heavy duty sensors on board to help it not only map out your house, but to determine the easiest path back to its charger. I believe the charger is infrared enabled or something? The Rumba doesn’t have to depend on a camera to locate its dock. Paul, am I right?
Loona’s charger, only has that little symbol mounted at the back and some contacts for charging- no infrared present. She only has her camera to differentiate that little square, with the symbol on it from a bunch of background visuals, and deal with all kinds of different ambient lighting conditions besides. I am with Jude, in that people need to stop complaining. It is an unfair comparison. I. Robot has had years and years to perfect their appliances charging techniques while KEYi Tech has only recently entered this game.
