Favorite thing about Uncut angling is how informative Aaron is in all of his videos. Fishing, electronics, tackle, etc.. love watching all of the content year round, and I'm a huge fan of the ice fishing videos.

This video is another example of why uncut is the best. Rather than just pump out mediocre content like most other RUclips fisherman, Aaron only posts videos that are top notch quality. Best fishing show on RUclips hands down
OMG, I can't believe you kept some fish to eat. Good for you, getting back to the roots of fishing. Nothing wrong with keeping some after burning the energy to get on some fish. That's the practical beauty of outdoor adventuring and gathering; there's some calories gained if the game goes well. Looking forward to your processing vid.

Can’t wait for the Whitefish preservation video. We have tons of whitefish in our river systems in Utah and they readily take flies. This would be a great educational tool to help anglers manage the population and in turn help out the brown trout fishery by reducing the number of competitors. Great video Aaron!

That was absolutely awesome I would love to do that. White fish are great to fish for when you are hitting them like that. You are right in Alberta we have to try to finesse them in most lakes but there are a few minnow eater lakes and they are much more aggressive. Keep it up. Can't wait ice is coming!

The catch 'n cook is a great idea ! These white fish are called over here in Germany Maräne or in southern Germany like Lake Constance "Fellchen" and those are a real delicacy smoked hot on Erl-wood ! 💋👌 Enjoy! And tight lines from Baltic shore.

I can %100 agree with what Aaron said about using wire worms/flies/anything that looks like a bug on the bottom for whitefish, I fish Wabamun Lake in Alberta and they usually won’t go for a typical ice jig/lure

Two of my master Whitefish caught at Molson Lake on a 7 inch shadling in two different trips. 3rd and 4th George Lake on a jig and swim bait in the summer targeting them.
Wow Aaron that Garmin unit is NICE! Never saw one before. I'm still using a mechanical flasher and haven't really liked the helix so this Garmin sure looks like an option. Cheers from North Kildonan!
Teuvvoo, correct me if I'm wrong, but there's not much love for fly or light spin fishing in small to medium sized streams on this channel? Then again, when you have lakes like these... ;) Furthermore, the author appears to really enjoy ice fishing, using lots of heavy machinery, enormous boats, sophisticated gadgetry and every freaking fish finder there ever existed. That shows what kind of person he is to some degree. It's just how it goes. We can't like all kinds of fishing equally, there's just too many, imho. Preferences will form and sometimes shift with age and that's perfectly fine.
