I have everything and all variations except for rasperry patti.. orange digger.. grey happy.. tan inky with a mouth.. i have a no mouth..fine yarn derby all gold nip.. all black zip and i have em but they are counterfeit which are ty die lizzy and royal blue peanut.. they both have a gen 3 or 4 tush so i know they were dyed.. bc it doesnt match with the timeline. But ya i need those and all the versions of teddy .but besides that i have every gen 1 thru 5 beanie according to the old checklists amd magazines. I have a 1st gen tush cubbie to stand in for brownie.. and one of my holy grails is a 4 line korean pinchers which could habe been a punchers but it has nht. I also just bought spot with no spot and quackers without wings. Prices have gone up a.good bit since you made this video two years ago. I paid 500 for both spot and quackers and they have no hang tags. Sounds like you have a nice collection too. Shame about the counterfeits, but those are still neat in their own way. Hope you didn't spend too much on them. I don't have enough income to really add to my collection anymore, so I'm still missing some stuff like wingless Quackers, the old face Teddies, RB Peanut, and a few others. I've gotten Humphrey and the other New Faces though.
Thats really cool. I got trap humphery and slither.. hoping to get grey happy and orange digger for christmas. My grandfather and i started collecting around 97 and i already had my childhood 4th gen up til like 2001 collection. So ive been getting a lot of rare 1 thru 3 gen beanies online for pretty decent prices. I did spend 100 bux on fake lizzy but the seller sold me some authentic ones too so ya i got ripped off on that one but thw other ones he sent were authentic. But the rb peanut was 50 bux and i knew it was fake just wanted to have one. Im mainly a comic book collector but recently ive cant stop buying all the variations i need lol its addicting.
I dont think fuzzy belly stripes and hot pink magic are real variations. If anything they are manufactering change and not an intentional.variation. so i refuse to worry about these two for my complete variation collection. I do believe i actually have a fuzzy belly stripes and a magic with tag on its head and the sufrace error and i bought it thinking itnmight be a hot pink but i have one with the tag on its wing and it looks really dark pink lol so basically bad words for stripes and magic. Its bs. Lol
I’m not sure if you still respond to a bit of the older video comments , but I have to say this. I love when you have these like little expositions during a video , you had them I remember in a Pokémon playthrough (I’m a little fuzzy on which game) but you like do a transition while the video is playing , to describe, or tell a brief history about something in that video. it’s usually followed with music. i just think those really add to the videos entertainment and i thoroughly enjoy these thank you 🙏

On the Fareham UK Ltd. introduction, I think this was phased from early 1997 or maybe earlier as I have seen several Bubbles and Radar beanies (who retired in May 1997) that have tags with Fareham UK on them. I have also seen a few Sly brown belly beanies that also have the Fareham UK tag as well (normal writing not the unbold weird writing the all caps ones had).
You should do a new updated version of this video. Your video inspired me to buy a complete gen 1 thru 3 set with original tush tags. I have em all now except i only have 3 of the teddies and my royal blue peanut is fake.. but i do have a complete gen 1 thru 3 collection and a complete gen 1 thru 5 collection as well...every Major variation. There are a lot of tag changes in gen 4 and 5 i dont have like errors pvc princess etc... i also need some variations in gen 4 like 7 line tank and felt inch that i only have in gen 3. But the only actual beanie in gen 4/5 i dont have is bumble.. he is really hard to find.
I just ordered my 4 line korean deep fuschia Patti. Paid 250 for it. Super happy.. now all i need is royal blue peanut fuzzy belly stripes and some of the teddys to have a complete gen 1 thru 3 collection with all variants except for the name changes which i have original 4 line pincher.. 5 line korean cubbie.. and a 3 1 tan tail bongo so i can say i have punchers brownie and nana respectively but not technically. But ya complete set. Just gotta fork out the cash for rb peanut and the teddys now
Im reallt jealous of deep fushia patti and 4 line korean cubbie... ive never even seen those for sale on ebay. If i had the cash id give you a grand for both of those lol
Yeah, I got pretty lucky with them. Knowing people in the group definitely helped out, I'd imagine it's a lot harder to find them by just looking on ebay. To respond to your other comment, I do have more Beanie stuff recorded (and have for a couple years at this point), but I've been massively procrastinating the editing for it. It's a lot of footage to go through and try to trim down into something watchable. It's also mostly just talking about commons. I don't have a lot more to say about the Gen 1-3 Beanies beyond what I've already said, since I don't have hands-on experience with a lot of them.

I just bought a 4th gen bumble for 90 bucks with a detached tag but it's the only one I've ever seen online. My dad is going to restore the tag for me. I know have a complete 4th/5th gen collection except for tag changes or variations like 7 line tank that I have in gen 3. I was going to chase after all the gen 4 tag changes and variations but I figured I might be able to get lucky and find them at flea markets for a couple bux instead of paying a couple hundred for a beanie like Pride. Most people sell all their 4th gens for a couple bux a piece and don't know the rare variations so I'm going to try my luck at flea markets. Right now I'm happy with my complete gen 1 thru 3 collection except rb peanut is fake and I only have 3 of the 12 teddys and my complete gen 4 /5 set. Maybe one day I'll shell out the cash for peanut but my main hobby is collecting comic books and marvel comics are a way better investment than beanies lol but I love my beanies and happy to say I have a complete gen 1 thru 5 collection except a few variations
My Grandmother recently passed away, going through her stuff. We uncovered a TON of Beanie Babies! Im talking about 5 or 6 totes FULL of beanies. Many in cases. Pretty much everything is mint condition. She appears to have some 3rd gen swing tag beanies. Relatively positive she has 2 or 3 PVC pellet Princess Bears. Im currently back home doing my research, ive already filtered through the fake prices/sale articles. Kinda how i found you, lol. Any idea who i can send a list to of what weve found? I wont be able to tediously document and detail everything until this coming weekend. If she has less than 500 beanies id be surprised! And like i said, of it isnt mint condition, its very good. I havent seen one with a missing tag yet. They look like she purchased them, put a tag protector on it, put it in a tote and never touched them again.
Interested! Some people charge thousands for worthless ones. My advice would to watch tag gen vids, see what others *sell for. Not listed. If the listed prices were real- I’d be a billionaire! Not that you asked… just a beanie baby collector
Hot pink Magic is a tricky one, and very difficult to identify through photos. I got lucky with mine. Buying it from a reputable dealer (bbtoystore) probably helped.
I saw that they had one, I buy from them pretty frequently. My last two didn’t come from BB toy store and now I know, good to know. Also really cool of you to show the hot pink one as it has stitching along the top of the wings which is a good giveaway. Thanks for info, I love your vids!

My Spooky doesn't have the combo that yours does. Mine has the gen 4 hang tag with a gen 3 tush tag (no star next to the heart). Can't really find any info on my combo either. Probably not interesting, but most of what I can find on Spooky shows both 4th gen tags.
@Alloutairguns I have almost everything that I was hoping to get. I'm still missing a few of the rarest ones like Royal Blue Peanut and the old face Teddies, but those are out of my budget (especially right now, but even when I had more money I was unwilling to go over $100 for anything).

it's perfectly fine to handle them with bare hands. The authenticators all do it. Gloves can be good for the extremely valuable ones that are worth hundreds of dollars, but it's really not needed.
Gen 5 no star derby doesn't exist. All I need for gen 5 is goldie and nip which are hard to find in gen 5. But no star derby definitely doesn't exist in gen 5

4-3 is definitely a viable combination for Spooky. Anything that was available between June '96 and June '97 can have it, and Spooky fits that range.
