Hi Deb, It was one of those moments where the more I laughed, the more I couldn't stop, so the more I laughed... Laughter is so very important in my life and Martin manages to make me laugh all the time. This time, he surpassed himself - mind you it's usually me who does the daft things! It was such a classic moment and we look forward to making many more memories along the way. Really glad you enjoyed the vlog and we were able to make you laugh. Take care and best wishes, Donna, Martin and Dylan xx
Howdy Martin, Donna & Dylan. Great to see you on the cut and the boat skills of Donna looked very good. Dylan seemed to enjoy himself on the towpath snd around the locks. Pity about getting stick but rescue was not long off. Lively sunset snd the morning view was fantastic. Looking forward to more cruising adventure. Cheers Keith Melbourne Australia.
Hiya Jon, I think it was a case of "If we don't laugh we'll cry" we are looking forward to going cruising full time, see how we do in the winter eh! I was glad to hear that you had a good first outing with the canoe. Catch up soon, Martin
@@narrowboatnomads storms left a lot of debris but glad you laughed. Won't be long til cruising all time eh. Glad Dylan getting used to it, kinda forget dogs are quite adaptable. Yes was nice to have a paddle. Hope to chat soon
Hiya Lynda, If we got you yelling at the screen thats good, don't they call that audience participation? Donna is always laughing at me, I just wish it was when I'm trying to be funny! we crack ourselves up everyday, it was good fun though eh! 😂🤣🥲 Martin
Thank you , I look forward to the day you will have more spare time to go cruising but in the mean time I'm enjoying your daily adventures and co__ ups sorry I mean life's little accidents ! Cheers.
I was just going along with the script and Donna actually planted that tree just to make it interesting. Anyway now that you've chucked your lot in, I bet you two we're part of the plot because this is looking like a feminine conspiracy 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 just glad you had a good laugh eh! xx
Hi Donna Martin Dylan,I have heard of rock a buy baby in the tree tops but never a narrowboat lol is that your new name Martin Jeremiah Lee ?,so pleased you got off the tree 🌲 in time to moor up ,how does Dylan behave when on the move ,Donna you done a good job on the tiller may I say ,you must think you are a gynaecologist with you long glove on hehe bit wet in there lol ,Martin you had it the wrong way round lol 😆 steady on Donna you will pee you self laughing like that hehe 😜 sounds like you had a good time having a nice meal,it must be so nice to go cruising instead of in the Marina, you luck buggy’s you so jealous, great blog most interesting and enjoyable till next time take care keep safe, John 💐💐🌜🌹🦮😍😜😊😜🍟🍟👍👍
Hi John, As always, lovely to hear from you and we hope you are keeping well! Yes, indeed we had such a great time cruising away for a few days and it has reminded us just how fantastic it is and we can't wait to get cruising the network properly. I'm still unsure about steering the boat, but, with more practice I should build on my confidence and it will eventually become second nature .... I hope! As for the weed hatch, it was such a funny moment and we couldn't stop laughing, it was a great way to end the getting stuck on the tree mishap, despite being in a bit of a fix we stayed calm and learnt a thing or two. Everyday is a learning day with boats aye!! I must say i'm really proud of Martin as he is learning so much and just getting on with whatever needs to be done. I'm sure those gloves will come in handy for more things than one, we noticed how all the cows had left rather sharpish :) Anyway, we are taking advantage of the nice weather and clearing everything off the roof in preparation for going into the drydock. Along with some other jobs, we will be painting the roof before putting on new top boxes and new solar panels in preparation for our continuous cruising. Until next time, take care and very best wishes, Donna, Martin and Dylan xx
Some say pets often resemble their owner. I say the name of a NB ought to likewise resemble its owner, you Martin. Name your NB "Stiff Upper Lip" because of Martin's very stiff, immoveable upper lip. I had wondered what that looked like until I first watched him speak (his upper lip does not move... so English)!
Hiya James, "Stiff Upper Lip" nobody has ever pointed that out to me before, so thank you 🤔 anyway you didn't see the bits when I was crying 🥲😂 and it certainly moves when I'm reading 🤓🤣 but I've added it to the list. Now Donna is English and we may live in a lovely English community in England. I maybe many things but my "Taffy Twang" (accent) makes me a Welshman and my DNA makes me half Irish too but my mates here, would not let me get away with claiming to be English, in fact they ask Donna to translate! I could pass as British on a good day mate, Thanks again and speak soon I hope, Martin
Hi Wendy, Thanks for your comments and I can only apologise, we have invested a lot of money in our new cameras and microphones, so I'm very sorry that your viewing was spoilt. I will seek advice but at this time I'm not sure what we can do! Regards, Martin
@@wendycrooks875 my Taffy accent probably doesn't help either! 😂 I'll ask around and see if theres something we can do, maybe don't let me have the camera 🤓

I’m really sorry, but we could hardly hear you through the first 10-12 minutes of the vlog. With the engine being quite loud it was hard to hear.
