I think Meg is one of the hardest working women on RUclips. Growing preparing and Cooking wholesome Whole food for your family regardless of the size is a full-time job. With a little one at her hip to boot. You go girl! Love your channel💜
I agree wholeheartenly..
Ditto!!😊
Definitely
You took the words right out of my mind. He truly is lucky to have married this "special"
woman.
Yelp

Pen finished. Piggies weaned. Meg cooking and canning. AND then there's meatloaf better than mom's!!!! Homesteading at it's best! 💖💖💖
Hard working all American family. Always love the Hollars. ♥️
How adorable are the bacon seeds!!!!! Some are huge Ben.
I really wish we had smell a vision so we could smell all the gorgeous wears Meg has been cooking.
Buggy is so adorable 😍 the boys are becoming such amazing young men.
Love the video as always ❤. Love and blessings to the Hollars xjx
Way to go, Meg. Wonderful food, full tummies & blessed hearts.💖
Oh, and your youngest boy that was making faces for the camera---he is such a cutie-pie!
God bless you all.🥰🙏💖
Meg you deserve a medal! Wowzer, you are one busy blessing maker. God sees all you do and smiles with affection as you serve your family with such love and diligence ❤
Amen! And AMEN!!!!
Piggies are so cute. Ben you do a great job around the homestead, always! Your boys are such great helpers and loved how your younger son made us laugh with his silly faces, so cute! Meg, lady your mom must have taught you like mine did, the way to a man’s heart is through his stomach…lol, but it’s so true! Beautiful family!
Great Dad and..and sons are fantastic..being raised with pride and a sense..of hard work .and .rewards it offers....in so many ways...
Momma is def setting the bar high for future daughters-in-law!
Oh my gosh yes!!
Meg is definitely a keeper, Ben is also a keeper, and each and everyone of your children are also keepers 👏🇦🇺👋💞
I would like to see more of Meg's cooking and canning in the videos.
Anything with Meg is appreciated. She’s really awesome.
Y’all are so sweet to me 🥰
Me too!
And more of her recipes!
Omg, Corbin was absolutely hilarious when he was making faces at the camera! I love when you include fun little bits like this. Your family has a great sense of humor, but you guys are too humble to let it shine through very often in your videos. I loved the one where the whole family mugged it up for the camera & the boys all wore "tails" when you were harvesting your corn earlier this year. And I don't blame Ben for overeating tonight, because Meg's meatloaf looked delicious!
Isn't it wonderful when people can't stop eating what you made for them. You're stuffing them with love🤣
Love seeing you guys pray over the meal!
The rows of garlic are NOT a pretty sight. They are an absolutely BEAUTIFUL sight. Be sure to protect them with extra mulch for the colder weather.
Love seeing the cows and the piglets, and all the animals!! 😃
Meg. Smuckers used to have a whole line of apple-combination jellies: apple-grape, apple-berry, etc. they were good. My grandma used to make crabapple mixed jellies to save on buying pectin. In both cases the apple is so mild that really only notice the other flavors. The reason I bring these up, is you can use apple to fill out when you want to make jelly, but don't have enough of one fruit to make a full batch. Happy cooking.
Ben and Meg accomplish so much with positive, problem-solving attitudes! Great homesteaders with a great family.
With the boys I'm sure nothing goes to waste.
You are an amazing family. Love your content and your spirit. Thank you for sharing, truly enjoy it.
just want to add my two cents worth that I really appreciate that you increased your videos. It keeps my interest, and I'm sure that of many of your other subscribers, too. It creates a rhythm to see you almost daily and watch your family grow your homestead . Thanks!
Cool looking pigs, Ben heard the squeal the fench doing it's job. Meg once again cooking and preserving. Meatloaf and mashed potatoes gravy yum. Love to know how the apple peels and core breakdown to make the jam taste. Corbin your a hoot😂. Blessings to you all. 😊🇺🇲
Love you guys! Thank You Both for taking the time to share your precious life on the Homestead with us 👏🙏🙂💯
You two are amazing, meaning mom and dad! I just want to mention about the little one that's making funny faces and the camera, he's amazing too. I was watching him standing by your side and cutting up a chicken, you didn't have to assist him or anything amazing. It just seems he's around you, Dad, a lot, which means he is learning so much from you. Kudos to you Dad. Oh and Meg, I'm so impressed the way you cook, and can, and All the many things it takes to run that house you are such a busy woman. In all the time I've watched you I think I've seen you sit down maybe three times! You birthed some beautiful children, and married a wonderful man. May God bless you and yours ❤️💚
He is always around Ben. I noticed early on that he is very eager to learn.
AMEN ❣️
Thank you ❤️
God bless your lovely family , always a pleasure to visit ....
Those little piglets are so cute. Hopefully they will adjust well for you Ben. Dinner looked so great Meg and Buggie! Living the life with all the rewards! Fantastic! Take care. Stay safe!
Just remember when things don't go as planned, you are living our dream!
Your videos bring us so much joy. Thank you so much for sharing your family with us all.🙏💕❤️
I love the 'outtake' of one of the boys making faces at the camera! Love your family!
Little pigs! 🐖. Maybe the babies will like the whey. 🐄. 🌞🌱❤️
I understand piggish and they were singing the old Piggy Frampton song . . . Oh, won't yoooooou show me the whey? . . . everyday . . .
I'll see myself out.
Those little piggies are so very cute! Baby piggies are my favorite farm animal. When I was a teenager I spent hours and hours in the pig barn playing with them!
I love how your kids bounce from you to mom to you again helping indoors and outdoors.
And just a reminder...the song 'Feed The World' was not specifically aimed at you, Meg. lol
🤣🤣 These boys are hungry!
The pigs were cute and all, but that ending? You guys are the most naturally funny and endearing couple I have ever encountered anywhere lol. You always leave me smiling and in a better mood.
Those little piglets are the cutest babies. Never growing up around pigs, I've decided the American Guinea pigs are the best breed. I don't think other breeds would let piggies from another mother nurse with her babies. I'm glad you all decided to raise that breed! I hope the weaning process goes well. That's a nice batch of garlic you've got growing there! Meg, your meatloaf and mashed "taboes" looked so good. Matter of fact, you helped me decide what to make for my supper...meatloaf!! My back hurts just watching all the things you've got going in the kitchen!😘 You all are the best preppers of all the homesteaders. You don't let anything go to waste!
Homesteaders are self motivated & Not lazy, thats for sure! It makes me happy how you watch your animals, I due too. Great family & Megs cookibg! Yum
Nice job making a place that you can wean the guinea hogs in. Those piglets are so cute. Wow Meg, making so much wonderful food! Cute when Corbin was a ham at the camera. Dinner looked fantastic Meg! Thanks for this Hollar family!

Time flys before you know it.
The Piglets are so cute.

The piglets are TOO cute! Meg . . . you are an amazing powerhouse!
I really enjoy your videos ! I look forward to everyone. From you gardening and farming to bragging on Meg's wonderful cooking and canning. I can only imagine how delicious her meals are ! Call me crazy but it's like I can smell what she describes as she cooks. I love you guys.
This is the most genuine Homesteading family on YT plus the most hard working 💪. GO HOLLARS GO!!
Yes Meg is my hero. Best Mama Ever. True best Friend. Loving Family. Love the pigs. Enjoy your videos every one. Thank you for your goodness from Dartmouth Nova Scotia 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️❤️😍😍
Piglets are adorable! Need a cooking with Meg episode once a month or 6-8 weeks? Ben you do a great job taking us along. Love how the boys help with outdoor chores and indoor cooking and preserving. Beautiful family!
Okay kids, so when’s your cookbook coming out?
You’re all such an inspiration (including your children who clearly enjoy helping out.) Thank you!❤️
I absolutely smile every time I see you guys sit down for a meal together. As it should be! You guys both work so hard..impressive! Blessings ❤️🙏
Looks like Pig Park down there lol. Cuteness overload! If you ask the Mommas, it’s probably time to wean when they get teeth lol.
Ouch, my wife would agree. 😼
So happy to see daily videos. When I don’t see one, I worry that something is wrong. Meg is such a hard worker and I can smell her cooking from here! The boys are fantastic helpers. Buggy is learning at her momma’s hip. However, with all those brothers, she will probably mature to a full farm hand. Blessings.
Ben, I love watching pigs! They are the most amusing "land" animals to me. They have an itch, they scratch it, but never in an ordinary way. LOL Swine are cool critters. Thanks for sharing so much with us. Stay safe.
PS: Meg, dare NOT come to😁 visit you! The meals you prepare would do me in for sure! LOL
Cow kisses, cute piggies and a Buggy fix!
Such an inspiration. God bless!
Your right those pigs are so cute. My grandma would be so proud of your family. She made apple & peach jelly the same way. She would also use just apple peels cooked down with sugar to use as the filling of fried pies.
So adorable!! I love seeing all Meg's hard work in the kitchen! God Bless you and the Family.
My grandmother made apple jelly like this. I just made some too!! Not many people know this is so easy to get juice and nothing wasted...:)
This was so good. I did love the piggy itching itself. That was super cute !!! Appreciate all that you guys show us.
You are active relaxers! You never stop. Corbin the entertainer.🌟. The piglets are super cute. Great vlog as usual. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌻🌻💕💕
Cute faces Munchie! Thanx for the piggy pics, Ben. Oh Meg, your food sounded & looked great. I bet it was awesome!
Thanks for taping the piggies! So cute!
LOVE YA, MEG!!! Tho you DO make me look bad. LOL. I was raised on a farm, and I'm nearly 70 years old, so am starting to slow down a little. I always get inspired by you guys, and, even in my old age, I learn things from y'all. Keep on keeping on!!!
Those little piglets are so doggone cute! Meg, you’re a wonder of a woman…you had so many things going in your kitchen, it was unbelievable😘! Love you guys💜!
Love you keep filming!!!!! Just keep going! We just love what you are doing :)
Why worry about pulling off old vines? You're building a pig-pen. 😜 Love the videos. I especially loved seeing #3 son using a boning knife with you, during the chicken harvest.
Thankyou Biscuit! I have been wanting a good cow kiss. I will just have to remember the feel since that does not transmit via the camera etc,. Thanks for warming this old lady's heart. You have me smiling from ear to ear.
You made pig catching look so easy Ben! I cant even round my three chickens up without drama.. they are very naughty once they get out of the coop for their afternoon walk.
Such an incredible family.
♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Greetings from Australia Meg how do you manage to get so much done loved watching the little piggies thank you both for allowing into your life
Please make a video with your children telling us their names and ages. I see Corbin and Buggy (? her real name) a lot, but don't know the other children's names. Kudos to Corbin for his work ethics, he gets right in there to help you guys with seems like anything!! He sure can butcher a chicken with the best of them. He is leaning valuable lessons just being with you so much Ben. The other sons probably do a lot of work behind the scenes. Thanks Faye
great cooking and preserving by Meg, and enjoyed the fixing of the fence and transporting the piglets. have a great week and weekend.
Found your bread recipe and adapted it to make one loaf (just me here).it’s a keeper! Yummy 😊
My pups heard the piggies squealing and had to turn their heads to figure out where that sound was coming from. Perked their ears up for sure.
Meg I want so many recipes that you make! Apple pie filling, meatloaf, tomato jam and so much more! I would buy a cookbook if you put one out there!!! Ben the piggies are adorable, I liked your big wooden spoon you made, do you sell handmade wooden spoons? I love this hard working family!
Uuu piggies 🙂. I would love a 15 minute video of just the little piggies doing their thing, that I could watch on repeat. With the lovely oink oink sounds and all 😀.
Nice editing job on this today. Nice to see your work in real time even if in segments rather than time lapse from a distance where we can’t really see the work being done. You guys are crazy hard workers so glad your home is providing for your family needs. It’s been a journey for sure.
Meg is busy all the time its wonderful
Loves to you All, how Awesome, I just made Scrap Apple Jelly ( what we call it ) I didn't think anyone knew what that was, makes me even more Warm and Happy of You All doing old traditions. Them Piggies to cute thank you for your Adventures. Now, back to seeding for me and taking my panels down too.
I think Meg is a Megatron. A Eveready Robot that goes and goes and goes. What a cook! The piggy's are so cute. And what about a Karate demonstration some time with your boys? 🍂🦃🌾💕🍁
I am starting to look for Corbin to make some comical face somewhere in your video! Love it!
Meg...can I come watch you for a day? Holy Cow....you cook fabulous and remain calm.
We used to feed old pea, bean and corn stalks in Autumn to our cows, the cattle love it as a treat, just make sure theres no mould due to late summer rains
My mom made the VERY BEST MEATLOAF'S.
We asked her to make it even for Thanksgiving and CHRISTMAS,. Our birthdays. And she always made an extra large one with lots of gravy to bring home. We would lick the plates.. One of our favorite meals. She could cook so good.
I miss my parents.🛐✝️🀄🀄🀄👍 gravy's yum
Meg,. You're doing an excellent job of keeping the
boy's full. As you stated before. GOD BLESS EACH of you.
That garlic was so quick; C'mon Mr H, fess up, you greased the cloves as you planted 'em , right?🤨👍 Be well all.😉
A great family full of love
Wish I had some of your energy Meg! Ben those are definitely very cute piglets, especially the runt one. I hope they do very much better on the food while weaning! Happy Homestead! Happy Days! 🐖🐖🧊☀️😄👏🥰🤗🙏
Those piggies are so cute. Love to cuddle them. Funny you mentioned coocking all day. I was wondering how Meg can stand on her feet all day. If I have to stand an hour my back and tummy hurt and need to sit down. Ok I am much older but still standind all day must be very hard. Just to watch you I ger tired😉😀.
God bless you guys it’s always so beautiful to watch your videos
Hi Meg, can you please show us how you make apple scrap jelly? love the idea of using the bits that would otherwise be waste. Thanks 😀
Enjoyed the bit where you stopped and talked to the cows. They don't get enough air time or praise for all their work. Sometimes I just sit and watch TV and do nothing. Family starts to ask whats for dinner and I just say I don't know I don't feel like it. Same for dishes, I just let it build up and wait to see if anyone will pitch in without being asked.
5:06 it's like Ben has magic lol he was talking about the big pigs and the electric line and he flung his hand at the pig and there was a bang and looked like the pig got shocked and took off 😂
That kitchen smell can drift my way lol 😉nice dinner once again Meg,Yummy for the tummy 👍😊...
Buy that woman a bigger stove. Lol. Meg is amazing.
I really enjoy your videos! Thank you for all the work to post videos ❤
That's why they call them PIGS, Ben. They eat as much as they can. Lol
150% to that Lemur. This lady ROCKS!! i sure hopes she is appreciated.
Did I just see a ginormous bucket of eggs sitting on the counter?! Holy moly! There’s enough eggs there to feed an army!😂
Could some of those weaner pigs be sold as possible replacement boars or gilts? Classy looking group.
I could sit all day watching animals. I sat and watched my kids. Then would have to rush around to get other things done. I found I love to hang laundry outside. So I did that on cool mornings before anyone was up. Waited till they were all out to sit with my animals with my coffee. Then planned my day. Loved it.
I love meatloaf. I love meatloaf the next day in a sandwich. Nothing much can top that. Comfort food. Miss my mother. Haven’t quite matched her short ribs. I made her make those every year for my birthday.
Another successful day Ben. You are on a roll. ❤❤❤. Which son was the funny faces? I had a clown like that. Bless him.
I have made apple juice off the scraps too. Love how you all use everything.
I love your family! 😆🥶🥶❤❤👍👍
Cow Kisses are Some of my Favorite Kisses!
Swedish tip: either buy lingonberry jam from IKEA or use a cranberry-jam with the meatloaf. It. Is. Heaven. It is also how we do it here in Sweden. Lingon is very tart, so that why I think cranberrys would be a good sub./Catta
I had to laugh when Meg was cooking so much at one time because I would have burnt it all if I tried that. Hahaha!!
Some days it happens to me too!
