- Our first night in Hundred Islands area, Alaminos City in Pangasinan province. We take a walk to the pier to see what we need to do for our boat trip the next day. We find a great Italian restaurant, Trattoria Altrove and enjoyed a delicious meal. Highly recommend that place link is below. Thanks 4 watching

JR and the Misses, if I remember right Brian took a nice evening video that same place???, They were draining this s*** out of my chest when I looked up when they brought the pizza out and spilled this s***everywhere....., Seriously you to it relaxes me I must be easily amused or your videos are as good as I can be.. Boy, you two are out on an adventure. 100 islands is a nice place to visit, we were there on dec 26 2004 when the tsunami hit Indonesia. Tomorrow we are off to Manaoag for some blessings and then to Baguio. Hope you have a wonderful time there.

That area is set up very nicely for sure. Looks very clean and orderly. As you said that pizza really did look very good and apparently it's as good as it looks. I've been to Hundred islands but didn't see any of this, we got off
the van and was ushered directly to where we get tickets for the boat ride so we missed out, Guess the right way
to do it is to stay overnight as you're doing, next time :) Thanks for the video !

Good morning. I think altrove is originally an Italian restaurant in boracay. Owned by an American or British guy with a wife from tarlac city. They have 2 branches here in tarlac city. One is on bypass road in fairlane subdivision and the one we tried is on mudita gampling resort in san jose tarlac and yes the food is good. 😊

Nice, with my little knowledge of the area I would tend to lean towards Bolinao to live for myself. If you haven't been to Altrove, highly recommend.

Planned and paid for before we go because I do not want to get to an area and not have a place to stay. I just research area and find places that seem to be nice based on pics and reviews and then compare prices
The light house was a bummer, you can see it from miles away, and when you get there, it looks like its been attacked by something ! All of the food looks good especially the crust on the pizza, PERFECT. Yeah, the bloody sauces earn a big NOPE from me too. When I was in England the locals would razz me for not eating the blood sausages with breakfast, but nope, nope,nope !!! Thanks for the video, Pagasinan is a beautiful place but during War 2 it was heavily attacked by USN, and you can probably still find coconut trees with perfect circular holes from naval guns in the 1940's. I spotted some at Blue Beach in the 80's. Lest we forget
Thanks John, pizza was best in Philippines we have had so far. Found out later that they have locations in Palawan, some in Manila and Cebu, a couple in Tarlac and according to them one in Pampanga coming soon

I assume you mean Biggies and yes better, I couldn't believe it. Pasta also delicious. But they have a lot of locations so that tells you its good. They will be opening in Pampanga they said. They have 2 locations Palawan, 2 locations in Tarlac as well as others
