The Trophy for the best sound definately goes to Aston Martin imho. Audi has been DQed in this competition because of an incredible lack of sound.^^ Great video once again.

Nice sounds....but most of the prototypes seem a LOT quieter than what I remember from my last visit some 7 or 8 years ago, they must use some quite big mufflers these days, too bad.

I think that Toyota can win this year. The Audi are strong but the Toyota are competitive this year. Porsche have much Power, they're strong in qualifications but not in race. I think they will don't hold the 24h to Le Mans.

The LMP1 cars sound way quieter than the F1 cars, and I'm suprised that nobody gives a crap about the LMP1 sounds. Everyone is criticizing the F1 sounds. What the hell? Both F1 and LMP1 are meant to push the boundaries of car technology for the future. Just stop complaining and enjoy the racing that both F1 and WEC deliver, not whining like a baby about the sounds
Nobody whines about LMP1 sound because they use diesel for a reason other than to appease hippies that don't watch the sport to begin with. They have a longer range and spend way less time refuelling. And yeah, in a fly by they sound much better than any of the V6 cars from the 2014 season of formula 1. F1 2014 was a fucking disaster with two teams folding, drivers pissed off because they weren't getting paid due to the crazy hike in R&D costs, and two more teams that will probably leave next year. (Lotus and SFI) All for environmental reasons that shouldn't apply to the pinnacle of motorsport. The sound is the LEAST of the problems caused by the engine switch and new rules. The fact that GP2 qualifying times are matching F1 qualifying times is absolutely disgusting. The double points in the last race were retarded. The only good thing about the 2014 season was the end of the Red Bull winning streak. But yeah, sure, there's nothing wrong with the new engines or aerodynamic restrictions. Enjoy your 18 car grid.
Only Audi competes with a diesel car. Toyota and Porsche have petrol cars. Sure, the Porsche has a turbocharged V4, but the Toyota has a V8. I'm sure Toyota could have made it sound a bit better. Yes, I am absolutely disgusted about F1 in 2014. But 2015, I bet it will be a much better season. I love F1 and the WEC and I will never stop watching both
