Thank you doctor. I've had BFS for over 10 years and although the symptoms are no longer anxiety inducing, I can completely relate to The sensory hypervigilance you mentioned. It sent me very prevalent. I've noticed with people in the first few months of BFS in particular. Would love to have a discussion with you about it if you ever had a moment.

Thanks - I see a lot of BFS patients who have this, and my BFS video comment section is replete with people with sensory symptoms. There is only one paper that looked at it formally in a small sample, and did not find/make a connection between the two. My personal experiences with the BFS community would suggest otherwise! Once an anxiety state occurs (very common in BFS) people just feel and perceive far too many things which they ordinarily wouldn't. Bw Simon

It was 3 years of suffering until this year someone talked about it. syndrome. We are from Recife, a city in Brazil and here is the situation, doctors and hospitals are playing at each other, I have already spent thousands of reais on medicine and consultation, he is unemployed because he stopped his life to take care of himself. We have nothing else to do and the pain only gets worse! Pray Dr. Help me and I ask you for help for me and my son 🙏

a friend of mine has sensory hypervigilance and also has issues with her thyroid which make her very tired and temporarily incapable of full-time work. does it mean it'll only go away when the thyroid issue is somehow resolved?

Hi, great question and simply put, once it occurs, it needs to be treated as separate standalone issue. The thyroid issue is a medical problem, the other is a state of mind-body perceptive dysfunction which benefits from acceptance and psychological support. The symptoms are very real and can really entangle a person and make everything much worse than it should be. Bw Simon

      Good evening Dr. Freilich,
I'm certain I've been suffering from Parsonage-Turner Syndrome (brachial neuritis) since receiving TDaP on 2/2/23. MRI's and EMG scheduled at end of month to confirm. This pain is no joke!
A contraindicator on manufacturer's website for TDaP is "neurological disorders." On-line research suggests this is due to the pertussis serum contained in the vaccine.
Was diagnosed with "tremors" (neuro disorder) in 2011. Clinician missed previous diagnosis and administered TDaP.
Is that why I'm in so much pain for 18 months? What in that concoction causes this? Afraid I may never recover.
PS- I saw your previous video a few months ago regarding brachial neuritis immediately after I connected the dots back to the TDaP and began researching.
Could you possibly address the specifics of the vaccine and its effects, and why it may cause BN in a near future video? Trying to get a full understanding as to what I'm facing, and "why" the TDaP causes this, and if there's a way of purging this serum from my body.
Thank you so much for your videos. You're providing an invaluable service to so many!
      God bless you, sir!
