Great points .. I think the "couple of miles per day" is a good idea, you just cannot fool your body in believing you have become an active person by hitting the weights every other day or so while sitting at a desk the time for the majority of your time ... I would also try to zero out any hidden calories coming from drinks over the day (only black coffee etc) and simply skip breakfast. Eat only if you are hungry for 2 or 3 hours ,) .. But yeah, if you do not reach a cal deficit because you have no idea about your cal input etc / you overeat afterwards, you will fail aswell.
i get the idea but i think its wrong to lump all the diets together as fads. its really not as simple as CICO as a daily diet of 2500cal of donuts is going to affect your entire being differently than the the exact same calories worth of salad or of meat. Calorie restriction is extremely difficult for many people to stick to as well, and can atrophy muscles and produce other consequences. sure it is necessary to get stage-lean but i reckon the average lifter doesnt desire that level of leanness. my point is, as like every animal, humans have a natural diet. this is a diet of food that tastes fulfilling while putting you at your correct bodyfat %. i believe this diet is carnivore. wouldnt it make more sense to just eat this way and lose fat and feel better rather then spend all this time walking/jogging and eating below your needs? cardio/CICO is notoriously hard to sustain.
In my other videos I talk about eating real food and not just garbage. 2000 calories of donuts is definitely not the same as 2000 with real food. 80% real food at least is what I've said in other videos. With all respect, the carnivore diet doesn't make sense in the long term. I understand it works for many people, but eating mostly meat is a lifestyle choice most people can't /won't adhere to their whole life. When you don't want to do the carnivore diet anymore, you have to figure out how to eat all over again.
Great channel...great advice. Thank you.
Thanks for your comment 😊

All good points! I do a lot of intermittent fasting when I try to lose weight.
Tracking calories is really the easiest thing you can do
I think it's wise to track calories for a couple months to get an idea then adapt from there.
