When people try to pay you, you should just threaten to leave Jason at their house. Another great cleaning job, always amazed at the floor transformations!

    • @papermason
      @papermason Год назад +27

That would work, because leaving Jason would unclean the house, and then the people wouldn't want to pay anymore.

When my mother first moved to the countryside from the city, she would set people's digital clocks on microwaves and ovens, thinking it so strange no one would set them. A few months and a dozen blackouts later, she realised they'd just get reset every power out!

I'm a stroke survivor with mobility issues, scoliosis, and my low back looks like somebody (not naming names here 👀) accidentally spin kicked me while they were trying to remove dirt off of something. My hands cramp up when I grip plates while I'm washing dishes and I have anemia so I can't do too many things in a day or else I'll exhaust myself and lose momentum for like 2 or 3 days after.
What I'm trying to say is thank you for cleaning strangers houses, especially those of us who have a much harder time cleaning than others for a variety of reasons!
My one bedroom apartment is a lot harder to keep up with than i had originally thought ten years ago.
I, too, feel the phrase "Oh look! More dishes!" on a deeply personal level. They never end! 😂

I am mobility impaired (progressive condition), and can no longer wrangle a vacuum. Last year, I finally hired a housekeeper. She MOVED things, creating tripping hazards and accessibility issues for me. I'm sure her arrangement looked better/neater, but I do not need to make falling easier. I tried to be flexible, and explained why she shouldn't move things - then gave her another chance. Next time, she stole from me...but at least nothing was moved! 😣

As I've said before, I'm pretty well disabled when it comes to getting my house in order but since a new kitchen is going in after some water damage (4 freaking months ago, yeah they call me "no kitchen havin Mrs. Black" back in Moore County, NC😆) I'm concentrating on windows (impossible to keep clean with dogs and nicotine) and that Clean Freak worked great on the 1st clean of my sliding glass doors, then I shined em with alcohol (which I learned as a truck driver, a lil alcohol will GREATLY help in your windshield washer fluid in winter)!!

I have one bit of advice if you have a lot of small items contained on a tray or in a basket it makes them look less cluttered and more like one item. I know you don’t always have the option of doing that for these people but if you find a tray or basket in all the things it’s truly amazing what that does for the visual affect of the clutter. 😊

Thank you for your videos. I am a disabled person with limited mobility and I have gotten behind with housework. I am working with disability services now, and may have someone come in to clean. I have been worried about it because I always feel bad when people come over and help with stuff that I can't do and feel guilty about letting it get so bad, or whatever. Seeing these videos and hearing what you are thinking while cleaning, it has helped me see the perspective that people who do cleaning for a job or hobby, actually enjoy the cleaning and seeing the results of their cleaning. Seeing this perspective has relieved some of the anxiety I have been feeling thinking about this, so thank you again.

I love her wood floors. I had the narrow planks in my old house I previously lived in. They were stained really dark and showed dirt really well. I had to sweep and mop daily. White and light surfaces do truly hide dirt very well. I always wanted dark hardwood floors until I had them, lol. I also owned a white car, and it never looked dirty until you touched it, lol! My black truck needed washed daily, although that never happened, lol! You would think it would be the opposite, right? I love your videos and especially your commentary. I hope it's ok to suggest something. Since the homeowner is insisting on paying y'all, tell her you'll take the money if y'all can donate it to her favorite charity (maybe towards the organization she fosters dogs with) in her name. I am looking forward to your next video. Have a beautiful, blessed night. 🙏

Love your videos just wish you had them daily they keep me motivated to get up and move. My husband passed away a week ago and my way of dealing with grief it to Purge so far I've donated 20 kitchen size garbage bags full of clothes but so much more to do in our tiny little 672 square foot house, other cleaning shows on here just don't do it for me. Hey, Jason, good to see you.
Both you guys do such a huge amount of good for these people, and you know what they say, what goes around, comes around, so expect a whole lot of good to come your way.
Great job, as always. Take care.

Thank you for recommending people to take photos of where items on shelves are. I’m autistic as well and I would be very upset if my items didn’t go back right where they were before.

8:32 I had the single-person version of that desk. It was still about four feet wide. It was assembled inside the apartment. It had to be left there when I moved, even though I was moving to just the next apartment over, because it wouldn't fit out the doors and we couldn't figure out a way to take it apart without ruining it. I needed all that space, because when I bought my first computer in 1996, it came with a printer/scanner/fax machine, microphone on a stand, keyboard & mouse, and two freestanding speakers, as well as a monitor that weighed like 40 pounds. It was the first thing I bought with a new credit card and it didn't even trigger as suspicious activity. Things were crazy back then 😄😄

What a deserving woman! My heart just overflows for people who give to animals in need and help them through scary transitions. So often there are never enough people to help all of the sweet animals in need. I'm so very glad that you were able to bless her with an amazing cleaning. As always, you guys did a phenomenal job! ❤ I hope you are able to continue to help her and she is willing to accept it. It will hopefully only allow for her to live a happier more stress free life and in the end I'm sure help more animal's in need.
This is a great situation, where a group of caring, amazing, giving people came together (MMC & homeowner) to give and receive happiness all around. I just got back from a very exhausting, taxing trip in every way possible and needed a little TLC, so of course I put on one of your videos and it's everything I needed. Thank you for your continued originality, unwillingness to compromise or change who you are, and of course for all that you do for so many that are in desperate need of your help. By far one of my most favorite channels! ❤❤👊🏻

Well I think bless her for taking in and caring for pets that are in a transfer area in their lifes. She can't help herself for the dog and cat hair that accumulates and bless you and your helpers for pitching in and helping her.

Watching from Washington State, again. Good video, as always. Nice to see adorable Jason. I love what you’re teaching Jason and how you teach him, i.e. that oval glass topped coffee table/arranging candles. No wonder he has good work ethics. Takes patience to teach young people, especially nowadays. Can tell you are a big influence in his life. Right - beautiful floors. Anticipate your next video. ps - when do I p/u Jason at Sea-Tac Airport? ☺️

Microwave cleaning: I clean mine as I go however if my daughter forgets to cover something or doesn't wipe it down I put a 2 cup pyrex measuring cup in it for a few minutes, let it sit and it wipes clean beautifully. I will wipe it down with a sponge and dish soap too if it's not too stuck on for the steam cleaning with the pyrex cup.

  • @СолнечныйПарус-р7щ

    Well done, Jason!🤩🤗
