When people try to pay you, you should just threaten to leave Jason at their house. Another great cleaning job, always amazed at the floor transformations!

    • @papermason
      @papermason Год назад +30

That would work, because leaving Jason would unclean the house, and then the people wouldn't want to pay anymore.

I'm a stroke survivor with mobility issues, scoliosis, and my low back looks like somebody (not naming names here 👀) accidentally spin kicked me while they were trying to remove dirt off of something. My hands cramp up when I grip plates while I'm washing dishes and I have anemia so I can't do too many things in a day or else I'll exhaust myself and lose momentum for like 2 or 3 days after.
What I'm trying to say is thank you for cleaning strangers houses, especially those of us who have a much harder time cleaning than others for a variety of reasons!
My one bedroom apartment is a lot harder to keep up with than i had originally thought ten years ago.
I, too, feel the phrase "Oh look! More dishes!" on a deeply personal level. They never end! 😂

I followed your lead with the "Clean Freak". I had a bottle but didn't realize how well it works. As I've said before, I'm pretty well disabled when it comes to getting my house in order but since a new kitchen is going in after some water damage (4 freaking months ago, yeah they call me "no kitchen havin Mrs. Black" back in Moore County, NC😆) I'm concentrating on windows (impossible to keep clean with dogs and nicotine) and that Clean Freak worked great on the 1st clean of my sliding glass doors, then I shined em with alcohol (which I learned as a truck driver, a lil alcohol will GREATLY help in your windshield washer fluid in winter)!!

You might want to invest in a steam mop since youre dealing with so much grime. I bought mine for $120, and the main part detatches and becomes a handheld so you can clean other surfaces. It has a carpet slide so you can refresh rugs and carpets. I even use it to clean my upholstered furniture and my walls and windows. It saves me a lot of time, sanitizes, and it gets gross smells out of things. Mine is a hoover and has lasted me years with twice weekly use. The upfront price is expensive, but i dont have to keep buying cleaning solutions that might harm my floors, and the pads are washable.

I like so many other people here have some mental health issues that have recently been making it super hard for me to keep my room and kitchen clean, and watching these videos really takes away a lot of the guilt that I feel surrounding it, which in turn helps me clean! Thanks so much for all you do, you've made such a positive impact

I am mobility impaired (progressive condition), and can no longer wrangle a vacuum. Last year, I finally hired a housekeeper. She MOVED things, creating tripping hazards and accessibility issues for me. I'm sure her arrangement looked better/neater, but I do not need to make falling easier. I tried to be flexible, and explained why she shouldn't move things - then gave her another chance. Next time, she stole from me...but at least nothing was moved! 😣

I have one bit of advice if you have a lot of small items contained on a tray or in a basket it makes them look less cluttered and more like one item. I know you don’t always have the option of doing that for these people but if you find a tray or basket in all the things it’s truly amazing what that does for the visual affect of the clutter. 😊

I have been worried about it because I always feel bad when people come over and help with stuff that I can't do and feel guilty about letting it get so bad, or whatever. Seeing these videos and hearing what you are thinking while cleaning, it has helped me see the perspective that people who do cleaning for a job or hobby, actually enjoy the cleaning and seeing the results of their cleaning. Seeing this perspective has relieved some of the anxiety I have been feeling thinking about this, so thank you again.

White vinegar will strip the finish off wood floors, and leave etching type fine scratches. Do not use vinegar on wood floors. I have learned my lesson. A simple steam mop does a great job, hand wipe any excess moisture.

Great job!! Fostering pets is such a very kind thing to do but definitely increases the dust, dirt, dander and hair that needs to be cleaned. So glad you could help her with her home!

Well done to ye both on giving this lady a great reset 👏👏
With all the fur I think ye took away a dog 🤭🤣 I’m so glad you didn’t set the place on fire with a spin kick.
I can just picture ye running away without payment 🤣🤣🤣
Have a great week. Mary, Joes wife 👏💪👍🤞🙏💐

You saved my day. Not this film but another one of yours. You mentioned moving one item and use a paint mask on the cavas as an analogy. 3rd storm of the week arrived and my arthritis was terrible. I moved one cup to the kitchen and something clicked and I did my normal morning chores . Muscle memory or
something. So thank you for posting it.

Thank you for your video! I love to watch them in the morning, having coffee, cause they motivate me to get off my butt and go do maintenance on my half dozen aquariums... lol!!! I dare not spine kick them, as they are made of glass... I had mental images of the lady running after you to pay you! It's very kind of her to take care of the animals. Thanks you two and have a great day!

After watching a video of you saying you’re autistic and the way you are reminds me a lot of me. When I was around 12 one of my school teachers told my parents I could possibly be autistic and my parents didn’t have any of it. They were furious. They took me out of that school and recently for about two years I have been thinking maybe I am. And there’s nothing wrong with that . Maybe I should do more research into this myself . I have a lot of experiences and it gives me idea of maybe I am or not. Like how you don’t like the sounds of dish washers . I am the opposite. I find it VERY comforting hearing white nose sounds and I also do stuff very specific . And it’s very hard for me to understand change . And take a lot of stuff on the chin and let it sink in and never really express myself or even i will find myself watching a video on RUclips for HOURS and will be so focused. I am diagnosed with ADHD so maybe that could be it. But anyways thank you for everything you do man. So many appreciate the work you do and your videos are also very appreciated . Please keep up the great work.

I love her wood floors. I had the narrow planks in my old house I previously lived in. They were stained really dark and showed dirt really well. I had to sweep and mop daily. White and light surfaces do truly hide dirt very well. I always wanted dark hardwood floors until I had them, lol. I also owned a white car, and it never looked dirty until you touched it, lol! My black truck needed washed daily, although that never happened, lol! You would think it would be the opposite, right? I love your videos and especially your commentary. I hope it's ok to suggest something. Since the homeowner is insisting on paying y'all, tell her you'll take the money if y'all can donate it to her favorite charity (maybe towards the organization she fosters dogs with) in her name. I am looking forward to your next video. Have a beautiful, blessed night. 🙏
