I’m disgusted by this ad. As a soap maker I find it offensive that you disregard the hard work and effort that goes into creating beautiful hand made soaps. The soap in this ad may well be a mass produced soap, but saying soap in general as a gift is bordering on bullying and just plain nastiness to all of us who put a lot of time and effort into our craft. Myer, you won’t be getting my business this Christmas or anytime soon for that matter.
As a soapmaker and an ex-Myer employee I am very disappointed in this advert - putting down soap as a gift is really upsetting for anyone who puts hard work into making nice soaps as a special treat for someone. Even if the soap in the advert is a commercial one (Myer sells commercial soaps like this by the way) it is telling people that soap is not a gift idea and not worth buying. Not impressed Myer!!!!!!!!!
@@dashman1620 that doesnt even make sense? Lush makes soaps, I make soaps - Myer even sells soaps but they are saying by this advert - dont give soap because it will just be regifted over and over. Lush should be complaining too.
