I know you said that cool tones aren’t really your jam, but oh my goodness, they make your eyes look so piercing🤩🤩🤩
Try letting your setting sprays dry down without a fan. When you use a fan you are evaporating from the surface instead of letting the powders fully absorb the spray. I swear it makes a difference! 💛
I bought this palette and I actually love it. The shades all have a unique tone to them. The rose gold shade is stunning, you should at least use that shade for us in a look soon!!
Rosequarz is soo beautiful and I usually dont look good with pinkish eyeshadow but this is perfection

I waited a month to get it. I was not excited when I first saw it but....let me tell you. Now I’m mad it’s a seasonal pallet. Warm tones look really strong on me and this, this I can use to make the softest daytime looks for work to the most dramatic and gorgeous evening looks. I love it so much more than I expected to. So so tired of the purple, pinks and orange tones. This is ALL ME!
That's my favorite eye look: cool toned browns with champagne shimmer. Is there a better palette if you like this look?
That palette looks lovely but realistically I know I would not get use out of it the way I would the soft glam, modern renaissance, or even the master by Mario which was limited edition. This is the prettiest look I have seen from you tubers who are reviewing this palette though! I am a recent subscriber and more and more I find myself watching a lot of your videos! You are very straightforward and there is none of the fluff or over the topness from many of the other youtubers. Keep it up!!
I just love Anastasia Beverly Hills palettes. I was finally able to afford he Modern Renaissance palette for my birthday in September and I just adore the Norvina palette. It was like those stories where you go to the shelter to adopt just 1 pet and then end up taking home 2 because you couldn’t leave without their sweet companion.
I’ve been putting off the Prism & Soft Glam palettes, I heard disappointing things about the Subculture palette, and this Sultry one is pretty irresistible to me right now!
It's a great palette if you like cool tones and are new to ABH (most of the palettes are warm). Thanks for acknowledging your preference of tones and not using that as a con against Sultry. 💕
It’s the only abh palette I own bec they are always too warm for me. I bought this one for the more neutral tones I don’t regret buying it at all. It’s so creamy and seems like good quality to me. It is definitely more smoky tho bec of all the Metallics I didn’t realize that when I bought it that it doesn’t have satin or more tame colors but I’m pretty sure I’m still gonna keep it.

I agree with you!! I was so underwhelmed and not excited at all with this palette at first. the packaging was so extra, but the inside was kinda meh. I took a whim and ordered it during Ulta 20% off sale and it’s my favorite ABH palette I own. It’s definitely better in person than in pictures 😍
Jordyn Canady I felt the same, just underwhelmed by this palette but the more looks I see with it the more I love it! So I think I may use the 20% code I got from Ulta in an email Sunday morning and get it. Of course they send me another 20% off code after I used the other 4 they sent through email and the app and the mail, in the last 3 weeks lol and for some reason when I get those 20% off including prestige brands coupon codes I feel like I have to use them 😂

I have the Sultry palette and I think it is beautiful! I have dark hair, fair skin and blue eyes and I don't like warm tones on me so this one is perfect. I do own Soft Glam also but don't wear those shades very often. And my daughter's name is Ember so the Ember color in the palette is one of my favorites!

No dupe compares to this palette. It's literally the most gorgeous palette I've ever used. The shimmers are AMAZING. It's just absolutely stunning, totally worth the $45.
I had talked myself out of buying it because of my coloring but then I saw a video from Anastasia (the company) using it on 3 models and 2 of them were dark. The looks were beautiful so I bought it. It is currently on its way!

I'm looking back on this video and these colours look so stunning and regal on you! I love the natural sense of dimension the cooler tones give paired with your blue eyes, especially the silver inner corner highlight!

I loved the formula. This was my first ABH. The shimmers are like nothing I’ve tried. That red/pink was a big disappointment for me though. It just disappeared. The more I tried to layer it, the more it would fade. But it did intrigue me to more expensive pallets. The ease of blend is so nice
BEAUTIFUL LOOK!!!! 😍😍😍😫 Makes me want the ABH Sultry Palette EVEN MORE!!!! The ABH Modern Renaissance Palette is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE palette out of all the High End and Drugstore Palettes I own. They blend like a DREAM, the color payoff is amazing and the intensity lasts all day. ABH has ruined me by coming out heads above all others I’ve tried. Everything I try I compare to the quality of my ABH MR Palette, and so far, I haven’t found anything comparable, in my opinion. Some come close, but not so far, nothing has hit the same mark. Will DEFINITELY be picking up more ABH palettes. Hopefully they will be as good for me, as ABH MR. Thanks for your review! 😘❤️❤️❤️
I am very tempted,but i feel this Palette is missing a couple more deeper outer corner shades besides the brown and black. I get that it’s supposed to be for a super Smokey eye, but feel that leaves me out. Still considering though! Your look is beautiful!
I'm torn. I've got the soft and Sultry from Milani. Do I need both ? I'm not that into cool tones or shimmers. It's definitely pretty!
Thank GOD you're an influencer that believes in using her finger to apply metallic/shimmery shadows to get the best pay off! Not only does it apply the shadows more opaque, but it also warms up a bit on your finger for a smoother application on the lid. Nothing bothers me more about first impression videos when the directions that are given by the maker of the shadow state to USE YOUR FINGER FOR BEST APPLICATION and the influencer is all, "I don't believe in that and I HATE sticking my finger in the shadow *insert snotty voice*" which may be true, however, if you want to give an accurate review of a palette that specifically states to use your finger, and you choose not too, you're not giving those particular shades a fair chance. Like the Huda Beauty Desert Dusk palette. I watched a review where the influencer even stated, "I know I'm supposed to use my finger per the directions but I just hate sticking my finger in the shadow blah blah blah..." But then finished off her impression stating that she knew she didn't follow the directions but didn't like the 'metallic or pressed glitter in the pan' colors at all because they didn't perform well and also said you shouldn't have to use your finger to get good payoff. But imo, with a pressed glitter, like those in the HB DD palette, you DO have to use your finger or at the least a special silicone brush (finger still works better.) I will never forget that video (I will not share her name bc she's pretty popular and has been around a looong time) bc it made me so MAD. She's one who's usually very rough and kind of rude on first impression videos anyways, so I guess I wasn't surprised. Not like outright rude and mean, but kind of um....cringy. Yes! That's the word. She applies makeup beautifully, but if it doesn't perform right the FIRST time she tries it, she bashes it right away and then says shell never use it again. This is also why I LOVE Emily Noel as she never does first impressions bc she feels that it's unfair to the product. That it's better to use the product a few times before giving a final thought. And you also say things like, "Well, I'll have to maybe try this another time.... or with another look.... or give it a second chance later, off camara.... Even if you don't like it at all- you're not one to bash it right away. Anyways, how did I get all the way here from talking about using your finger for metallic shadows??? Lol 😂 I go on rants sometimes and then I can't find myself back to the original point😋 but yeah. Thanks for showing that it's "ok" to use your finger for best payoff! Lol

I own the palette, i think its absolutely beautiful, i really like the colors used i just feel like there is so many shimmers, that can be a good or bad thing depending on what your preferences are.

I recently purchased it November 1st and I love it! I had been thinking about it since I saw it was coming out. When to the store once checked it out and i was like mehhh i don't need it. Went back again bc i had a birthday $10 off and 20% off so I swatch the colors again and all metallics are gorgeous and mattes blend pretty good. So was like okay gotta have it. Used it already and I LOVED LOVED IT!
The Bad Habit After Party palette seems like a smaller version of the Sultry palette :-)

I ended up getting my hands on this palette before it released. I think I got over zealous about getting it early- like you, it’s not exactly my jam. The reason I don’t regret it is because as much as I love soft glam, it IS my jam and I have so many other alike palettes in my collection. Sultry is something and new and different for me.
I feel like Sultry is Soft Glam’s edgy sister.😅

You have an olive undertone! Look into EX1. The first foundation I found that isn’t weird on me. Yes, pale olive skin is a thing... Found that out at 33! :D
why put a corrector under the eyes, if even without it the concealer managed with all the imperfections ??

I feel you girl! I'm very neutral, not too cool, not too warm and it's quite hard to find right undertone. I usually use more yellow foundations (except for the winter) and more cool toned bronzers and blushes. :)

I wasn’t gonna get this one as I have nirvana modern renaissance and soft glam but during the sale last week I got it and do really like this as well. Just gotta say I’m taking a break from palattes purchases for a while because I have so many that I really like already, like jacklyn hills morphe, the vault also jacklin Hill, melt Gemini , Emily edit wants and Charlotte tilbury stars in your eyes, ok so I’m completely addicted to makeup, lol!
I was in Ulta treating myself yesterday to a new pallet. The pallets that drew me in were dose of colors friendcation,sultry,soft glam. I was so mesmerized by the friendcation pallet and I had to chose it ❤️ so I came home and searched for your video using it. I’m now inspired and excited to play with makeup 💄
I love the outer packaging of the sultry palette and the Nars high voltage highlighting palette. I simply wouldn't reach for the sultry palette but it is beautiful and you created such a gorgeous look 😍😍😍

I had the same mind set as you, I didn’t plan on purchasing this palette. It wasn’t calling my name, mainly because I’m a warm tone kind of girl as well. Saw it store and my mind quickly changed, the shades are stunning! I don’t have the majority of these shades in my collection so this palette was a great addition. Allie, I’d like to know your opinion on a comparison of the Sultry palette to the new Urban Decay Reload Naked Palette, if you get a chance to try that one. Do you feel they are very similar? Which is better? Or are each different enough to get each?

Personally I think that everything from Anastasia is worth it. It's amazing quality + afordable brand. It's more like if the colours in this pallete are sth that you need or not.

I have never bought a ABH palette due to the inconsistency of the.formula form one to the other. The Sultry palette seems to be receiving good reviews...what are your thoughts?

Love the colors u used with this palette. I just got this palette and I've been using the pink, tan brown and rose gold mostly. But what u did is so different from what I've been doing. Gonna have to try this out cuz its gorgeous on uuuu!

Can you do a video of your absolute favorite makeup look with your absolute favorite products from each category? Maybe you can do a drugstore version and a high end version :)
I just have to mention, that palet is completely cool toned palet. Also that yellow one which you used to "warm up" the look ;) Every color can be cool or warm depending on the undertones. You can see the differense easily when comparing any art paint/watercolor palet with primary colors next to each other.

I’ll just say it: cool tones are so underrated, it’s getting redundant with every look on RUclips being nothing but warm tones. The market is so over saturated with them.
