this is one of the most impressive things I've ever seen on Dreams. The amount of Puppets used on screen at one time blows my mind as to how it doesn't kill frame rate.
Hey! I'm the creator of this demo and the thing is... they are not puppets at all haha. They are basically all just floating parts with no connectors :)
When Dreams came out people were all "what can you make in Dreams? Something like X or like Y or similar to Z?" And in some thread someone probably said. "Well you can't make entirely open worlds but maybe something with smaller areas like Xenoblade?" And this creator took that idea and ran with it XD
@@SakkusMind This is kinda why I slowed down with Dreams tbh. I wasn't some master or something and I certainly wasn't as good as you 😂 but I was decent enough to understand its limits and that kinda killed the vibe for me. But now after what the creator of this has said about the animation of small parts rather than full on puppets and you about smaller world's, I'm wondering if it'd be possible to simply link loads of smaller world's together and create a linear experience with large "levels" in the same vein of Last of Us 2, Jedi: Fallen Order and of course God of War. This is Defo a pipedream but I feel like, if the possibility is at least there I'd be less deflated about the Game lol. I know I'm rambling alot but I'm defo interested to know what you think about that.
This was a phenomenal experience, I don't really like RPG's but the world-building, expansive UI and level design (particularly the bustling town centre) completely blew me away!
I really like the design of the world. It’s very massive and detailed. I’m not a fan of the fog though. It washes out the colours and make some areas seem lifeless. They could’ve reduced it and saturated the colours with a better filters to make the colours pop.
Media Molecule should make a huge city with all sorts of activities to where we can all hang out in with our own custom made avatars once they introduce Online Multiplayer. It could be PlayStations own Metaverse.
@@SakkusMind definitely! i'm only a few scenes away from being able to release my next game, an original star wars story, open world.. of course. please play it!? i got a hoverboard and jetpack and all sorts of stuff, its a long play! i think about an hour right now... if you dont explore..
To some degree, I wonder why one would make this in Dreams and not use a game engine? Regardless, I do hope to see more games and tools like Project Spark, Little Big Planet, and Dreams in the future.
How can he put so much objects in his world? And also with such a huge world please help. Cuz if l just put a couple objects/decorations in a room it's almost 100%

Hey I know my game can be intense, also it had a lot of glitches when I first launched that I have currently already fixed. That being said I 100% stand behind what it is right now weather is like, or not. Also I know the protagonist is a little scantily clad, as far as her wardrobe. That's going to hurt to me in that dreams algorithm, it also maybe a factor in you not wanting to reviewing it, because at the end of the day it is definitely in the league and worthy of a review. If you haven't played it since the updates you might want to give it a try. The game is called, Zora, the official game (demo) My PSN: GeorgiaGoodLookn It's an open-world action adventure game.
