Did you know that the letters written by Beatrix Potter served as an inspiration for her books?
I recently came across this website www.themorgan.... where you could read her letters (with little cute drawings and doodles) for free. You could even download them and print them.
Hope you enjoy these letters. If you haven’t read these books, do give them a try. It’s a charming little world of stories based on few animals.

I buy almost all my books (second hand or first hand) from local books stores, mainly Blossom book house in Bangalore. I think they can courier you the books. Please reach out to Mukund on +91 80503 20825. He works in Blossom. He will be able to help you.
I did see an entire Beatrix Potter collection there. Slightly smaller books than the ones I have shown here.
I got these hard bound books from a small second hand book shop in Matunga in Mumbai.

You can try reading Mary Norton’s The Borrowers series. It’s really cute. Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren, Dodie Smith’s 101 Dalmatians series. Other brilliant authors to try - E Nesbit, Roald Dahl and E B White.
