i guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a trick to log back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my password. I appreciate any tips you can give me.
Thank you for the motivational words!! I am prepping for the GRE exam and reviewing finite math for the first time in a long time; your video intro had me almost in tears! :) Thanks again!
Thank you for such well thought out videos! What a refreshingly simple explanation you've given! I left finite class lost and confused, this really helped to bring together the pieces that were missing from my professor's lecture! THANK YOU!!!!!
Great video, I have to catch up on venn diagrams for a job interview, really helpful! Glad there are people out there putting in the time to help others learn!
my dad is discouraging me because I always fail in math.. He thinks that I will never suceed. I'am also taking the Strand STEM (science and technology engeneering mathematical) not bragging or what. but I think this is not for me as what my father have told me. I'm not here for pity or what, but for learning. i just need to express my feelings or this will get into depression. Have a great day everyone! I know there is someone who is suffering/having more problems that I do! 😊 love lots! 💕
don't give up young lady. What I would suggest is go to tutoring, continue to re-read the material in your book(s), and watch videos on youtube, that has been the most helpful for me. Im a computer science major, and I just turned 43, and I dropped out of school for years, and I work at a college so I realize that I had no excuse for not going back to school and i work at a school. I take calculus 2 next semester. Do not give up young lady, you will not accomplish your goal if you quit. It's possible your dad is using reverse psychology telling you, you should quit because you aren't smart enough to do it anyway, he wants you to prove him wrong. Discrete math is a tricky form of logic math because it really doesn't deal with complicated math but more logic and not carrying ones, square roots, or riemann's sums. My calculus 1 teacher wrote on his syllabus, that Calculus 1 is difficult it isn't impossible, it CAN BE MASTERED WITH PRACTICE AND DEDICATION. It's very rare that anyone is born smart at math ( you have your exceptions, prodigies, that are 5 years old that can do math on at 12th grade level.) Those are exceptions, students that you know that are very good at math, is because they put time in to it, you too can also be one of those bright math students.
Your method of teaching is very clear and easy to understand. Hope you will guide students more on other maths solving problems. Look forward to more of your solutions for students in High School.
This was awesome u'll be my new math tutor, i understand u way better than my teacher oh my gosh i can't believe i was struggling so long for nothing. Thank you very much.
Thanks a lot Brandon, this always confused me, but I think my math teacher was going too fast for me to understand. You were quite thorough in your explanations, I totally understand now. Thanks for the motivation as well.
thank you so much for your videos. I am in an educational math class and its been years since I had to do anything similar to these. This helps SO Much!! thank you again!
"if you are watching this because you are struggeling..." just started my mono bechlor in Mathematics ...and a "struggle" is not even close to what I expirience right now ^^, so thanks for the heads up and sorry for my english :)
Likhona Likho Thank you very much! We all need a little encouragement now and then. Glad you found it and the video valuable. Hang in there and keep learning! Best, B.
that moment when you're sarcastic enough that people believe it's a compliment, please sir Brandon Foltz, he meant that you should go easy on the opening, GOOD VIDEO BTW! Helped a lot
Hello! I just completed all of your video about Venn Diagrams. Do you have videos that covered the following topics other than Venn Digram? a) Define set functions, Venn diagrams, sample space, and events. Define probability as a set function on a collection of events and state the basic axioms of probability. b) Calculate probabilities using addition and multiplication rules. c) Define independence and calculate probabilities of independent events. d) Calculate probabilities of mutually exclusive events. e) Define and calculate conditional probabilities. f) Calculate probabilities using combinatorics, such as combinations and permutations. g) State Bayes Theorem and the law of total probability and use them to calculate conditional probabilities. Many Thanks!
very good and thank you for spending your time to help us i just find this a little too long as i have another 11 subject and this topic sets isnt that hard compared to other think u should aim for 10 mins but great video
Thank you soo much for this video! ^_^ I almost gave up since I thought I was becoming stupid. But I guess I'm just having my own rough patch.. Thank youu again! :D
Paul Mwanzia Thanks Paul! I wish schools taught more about probability and set theory since it is so important. I'll keep it up if you do as well. Deal? :) Best, B.
Thanks for the video. I would also like to ask you if you can make more advanced video about set theory as I am university level student. Thanks once again!
Brandon, I'm having trouble identifying the complement of a problem? Any tips? Or do you have any videos on this topic? I have a current problem: Assuming that: A = {1, 3, 5, 8, 7, 2} B = {4, 3, 8, 10} C = {2, 4, 6, 8, 10} and that the universal set of natural numbers less than 11. I need to find (A' U B)' I'm totally lost. Can you help?
just wonder, can we not just skip the triks in the second example since you have 15+3 in ab (excluded the part of b) and 19 from b so we get 40-18-19=3?
I started weeping when he gave that opening speech, that's like all I ever wanted to hear

Excellent presentation & a very encouraging opening speech. thanks so much sir, your video is really helpful.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge on this subject, your tutorial is fantastic. Brilliant work and many thanks.
Very helpful for understanding Venn Diagram now im gonna ace my test tomorrow
Very nice presentation. Very well explained which is GREATLY appreciated!
You are a very good teacher. Your videos help me to understand. However, as you talk, the writings tend to cover over the diagrams. Thank you.
this was so helpful and most importantly it was easy to understand thank you so much!!
I like the way this tutor is explain very good sir keep it up .you real help as .
Thanks! I love your videos

Venn diagrams are useful in the application of sets. it is useful to help those allergic to symbols
Does it have an everyday use?
Good Video. Can easily understand the concepts of Venn diagrams and to solve related problems.
Great video. Can't wait to watch the rest.
Thank you soo much for this video! ^_^ I almost gave up since I thought I was becoming stupid. But I guess I'm just having my own rough patch.. Thank youu again! :D
Thank you now I get it I suggested if you can add a word problem because my teacher always using those
I’m just playing thank you so much
SUPERB!!! GOOD JOB SIR.EXPECTING MORE FROM YOU
You're a God-send!
Quite good...Congratulations Brandon I wanna understand set theory through this...keep it up
Paul Mwanzia Thanks Paul! I wish schools taught more about probability and set theory since it is so important. I'll keep it up if you do as well. Deal? :) Best, B.
outstanding video, audio and presentation
jay pae Thank so much jay pae! Glad you find this helpful. Best, B.
thank u soo much u helped me its was so hard for me to understand
I really like this video it teaches me a lot thank you
in the second example as you give in B 5 and the intersection 0; what about making the intersection of all 1 and making B 4 and A 2?
This is what i did..i wondered if i woulda been right
very encouraging and enlightening
Thank you for the explanation of sets... can you also make videos on finding maxima and minima of venn diagrams
Hi. I would like to ask if there is a tutorial on the intersection point of 3 circles or a formula. Thank you.
Superb......I am gonna understand everything
thanks it was very simple and nice.
You are an awesome Teacher :)
Your video is fantastic, especially the motivational start. Thanks
Thanks for the video. I would also like to ask you if you can make more advanced video about set theory as I am university level student. Thanks once again!
Brandon, I'm having trouble identifying the complement of a problem? Any tips? Or do you have any videos on this topic?

Assuming that:
A = {1, 3, 5, 8, 7, 2}

and that the universal set of natural numbers less than 11.
I need to find (A' U B)'
I'm totally lost. Can you help?
I have a question. How does the intersection of A, B & C equal 0? Thanks
@Brandon You are awesome!
Hello! Microsoft Paint...and a lot of patience. :)
Thank you you are the man
Thanks a million for the video
omg thanks so much you saved my life!
I needed that first bit :')
you are amazing! thank you!
Thank you for the great tips! You are so clear and helpful. I really appreciate it.
Please continue on with your magic :-)
Thx so much you are so good
AWESOME!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH
Very helpful !!!
Awesome! Thank you!!
but what about if you have to find the missing intersecting part without a given,
p.s. that should show up in our test
Thank you thank you thank you!!!
Great very helpful
In the second problem the formula n(A)+n(B)+n(C)+n(AUBUC)=n(ABC) I am not getting the answer 0 please help!
How do you solve a 3 set Venn Diagram where you are only given 1 of the 3 intersecting numbers
Thank you
can't it b (for second figr) A = 3 + 2(in middle) + 1(at xtrem left) n 4 at xtrem right and fr B 3 at xtrem right??
I learned a lot
V. nice explaniation v. clear
just awesome
you are the legend 5*s
excellent!!!!!
very clear
this was helpful
Thank you so much!
brilliant
_n_ ( _U_ ) = 50
Is that the way it's normally written?
Looks like it's saying: _n_ × ( _U_ ) = 50
damn thank you so much for making this so simple for me .
just wonder, can we not just skip the triks in the second example since you have 15+3 in ab (excluded the part of b) and 19 from b so we get 40-18-19=3?
"ac" but I like your thinking.
afrocanada thanks, should have write 15+3 in ac, maybe i should have cleaned my glasses before i wrote that comment :-)
At 17.58 how do you know n(B) = 19 and not, for example, 20?
very interesting
