This that Jr High, on the school bus, on my way to my football or basketball games, Walkman cassette player classics. cd’s and MP3’s wasn’t even thought of…✊🏾✊🏾. These guys were huge influencers.. I’m not from the inner city.. I’m from the country and we were bumping the hell out this. Humboldt 10.
Three 6 definitely ripped samples from Zirk and Kilo G but goddamn do you have to give the full credit to 2Thick. This tape is absolutely & indisputably the tape that spawned MULTIPLE 3/6 tapes/tracks. Both legendary but Zirk/Kilo G/Squeaky were the foundation for many artists.
Ikr, it also sounds a bit sped up and kinda more natural cus the one uploaded from dj zirk and da 2 thick family as audio track sounds slowed down and the one with the skull on the blue background also sounds slowed, this version by far sounds the best
@@ksager123 yessir ur right! i think he filtered that rodney o & joe cooley snare on the sp1200. i talked to smk yesterday and he said he gave paul sounds and made beats for him on his tapes
@@abscond I think he worked with Paul on Volumes 10&11 atleast, couldve been on the earlier volumes too. Somehow i got the feeling SMK did "Skinny but Dangerous"(remix) on Volume 12 & Skinny but Dangerous (1996). And probably the majority of the beats on Skinny but Dangerous too
So many hooks just from that Buckshot verse! Classic
Exactly 💯
Rip buckshot

@@peer5761Which track?
@@Houstonfontes 2 thick samples juicy j and killa b - squeeze the trigger
@@peer5761That was first dropped with Squeeky
this and "Come With Me To Hell" produced by DJ Paul are probably the two prime examples of "Crunk" music and "Trap" music from the early 90's
Vol. 9 by Juicy J is a masterpiece as well
And can't forget Shawty Pimp's stuff
@@ES2990 "2 Thick" by DJ Zirk is probably the true beginning of that sound

To whom it may concern, that intro is from the track Straight Mobbin’, first track from Seagram Miller’s album The Dark Roads.
gotta bump this one again time to time
The intro is Seagram - Straight Mobbin (1992)
How is Track 6 so clean ?????????? Sounds so good

Yeah he was the one who started sampling Rodney o. He even was the one who discovered the 36 snare that Paul used...
