10X Grammy winner and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Chaka Khan has recorded an incredibly diverse music songbook during a 50+ year career that spans 13 different music genre catagories.
Chaka shared the stage during this historic television salute with her legendary friends who have all since passed away: James Ingram ("In The Heat Of The Night'), Gerald Levert ("Let's Do It Again"), Natalie Cole ("To Sir With Love") and Lou Rawls ("Amen").
Legendary Sir Sidney Poitier was the first Black man to win an Academy Award Oscar in the Best Leading Actor category for his unforgettable role in the 1963 Hollywood film: "Lillies OF The Field".
