You are welcome. The device works like this: it's tracking your movement, and after a few minutes of inactivity it will go to sleep. And when you will check the device let's say over the app, it seems like not working (or it's on the 'wrong' position). The easiest way is to call directly the device, and by this you will wake up the device and it will send you actual GPS coordinates and it will be alive also on live map in the app.
Hi, what if i have a 2nd GPS for quick swaps when battery runs out? [I only have 1 sim which i also swap] Do i only need to do the login process with my 2nd GpS OR Do I also need to do the messaging setup for gprs and apn again with the same sim?

Thanks Dan. According to the manual there is no way to remove an APN record. But you can reset a whole hardware to factory settings if you want. (send a SMS command: "begin123456")

Thank you. It could be also the case, that your operator doesn't support 2G network anymore, hard to say. Or you can try another prepaid sim card, from another operator
@@morneo3 it does support, and the SIM card works fine in a unlocked mobile device, it seems there was something wrong with the GPS or Im not doing something right

Hello. There is no need for creating account. Every device has is own single credentials. Go to this website www.mytkstar.net/ and enter your GPS device ID number into first field (you will find it on the back side of GPS unit). And enter default password, which is: 123456 (unless the previous owner didn't changed this default password, it should work). It's the same procedure, when you will be logging into the android app 'WINNES GPS' (play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fw.gps.lhyk&hl=en_GB&gl=US)

Yes, I have also this experience: when I'm parked in the location out of GPS signal, like underground garage, deep forest etc. - when I call or text my GPS unit, it will send me only last known GPS position. But still, you can check the GPS position through the app (it could be also not precise because of garage) and most importantly, have your "shock alarm" turned on (send sms: shock123456), so basically when someone will manipulate with your bike, it will send you a warning sms instantly.
Is there any way to set the vibration alarm to send a notification to the app instead of sms text messages? I have a sim with no call and text capability.
There is an option for notifications in the app, under 'alarm setting' - there is a switch for 'vibrator alarm'. But unfortunately, this app notifications about vibrations never worked for me (only over SMS). But, what kind of notifications were always working for me => 'geofence' feature

I see. That's a good question. If you will insert a SIM card into this GPS tracker and configure the whole device according to my video - in the end, if you will call this GPS tracker, it will reveal you the ID number in the incoming SMS

You can do it by logging into web platform on www.mytkstar.net/ Just find your GPS tracker on the map (or use menu on left-hand side) - click on 'More' - and hit 'Tracking Report' - choose your date and hit 'download' - that will download you a .kml file, which you can open for example in Google Earth and you will see your complete track on the map

@@AlexAndra-bz7nd It depends. If you are going to use same mobile operator, you are all set, because you did the APN settings previously. Don't forget to disable PIN on the new SIM card and after inserting into the GPS unit, make sure orange and blue light is flashing - in that case your tracker have data correctly running and gps signal is good and it's ready for use
Hello. Yellow light flashing means GPRS connection. Blue light flashing means it has GPS connection. So we are good. If the unit is not responding when you call it, try sending this SMS - G123456#. It should send you back the GPS coordinates along with other info
If the unit isn't online, maybe is in a sleep mode and you will wake it up by a call, or if it isn't working, you don't have enough money on your prepaid card, or maybe data connection of you operator isn't working...

I had it home for one year and I still had problem to go through all those settings as the locator used to work only with the calling mode on SMS, now I can see it finally also in the app. Is it possible to add more GPS unit in the app? I have 8 units and we planned to put it in our cars, but currently we're using Jablotron system and all our cars are covered so far. It is also easier for us, but when I have those units, I would like to use it as well. When I use the desktop web, I can see that there is option of more units probably, but I can't find in the app any way, how to add second and more units there Thank you ! Hi Filip. The app is designed, you can see and manage only one GPS tracker at one time. So, for example: I'm logged-in and checking my car thru the GPS unit and when I want to check out my motorbike I need to log out and make a new login with my other GPS tracker credentials. I hope it's now more clear to you. Thank you for that voice monitoring feature :) Actually 'Děkuji' is in Czech, we have 'Ďakujem', but it's sim-sim-not very different :D

@@DinaMichaels Hi, sorry for late reply. I had no issues at all, you try to focus on the capital letters or change the password if would help. Since I made the first settings, I only charging the battery once a while, probably 4x or 5x in the year. So far I had no issues at all
I'm sorry, but SIM card is essential for this device. You are giving commands and receiving alerts over the SIM card. Unfortunately there is no way for this device to run properly without SIM card
Hi my friends. I get 2 sms per 30 min at standby mode when moving. How can I receive fewer SmS as it consumes my sms card Credit that way. 2. Notification area is the notifications i get only in the app? Cause i disabled vibration alarm but i still get sensor alert.(i guess for the device to stop send it via sms i need to send the sms no shock command?) 3. Hi. Most SMS I receive is from 'vibration alarm' or from 'overspeed alarm'. So try to set off your vibration alarm by sms (it's not very good working over the app) and set the overspeed alarm like to 250 km/h :)

Hello. The first step is a check whether you have enough money on your SIM card. There could be also some malfunction of the device or you mobile operator turned off 2G network, which is essential for this device
Thank you. I have the experience the only notifications working without SMS and only via app are 'geo fence' notifications. The 'vibration' alarm is working best only via sms, not so reliable via the app.
Hello. I guess you changed a mobile operator, thus you will need to change the APN information, because mostly every operator has a different APN name (just like you did with previous SIM card)
I have an issue with the location tracking. Two days ago i set it up, and from then till now, it says LBS stationary, it shows a location address far from my home but in my city. The strange thing is that i accept vibration alarms, but in real time tracking it is stuck on a date two days ago and the location as i said above. The sim has available funds in it, and i have tested the begin123456 and it sends begin ok. Any ideas what i should do?
Hello. There is not so much you can do, because a lot of movement with the GPS device is causing larger battery drainage. So, if I drive with my car only a few days per week, GPS device could last 1 month. But if you drive with your car intensively, it could last let's say a week

Hi Isabelle, please tell me from which point exactly you cannot move. For example if you will open the app, log in into your GPS tracker and you want to change some settings and the device isn't responding - you should CALL the device first, because it's in sleeping mode most likely. After you will receive SMS from the tracker, you could try to change the settings.

Very good question Martin. This GPS tracker consumes almost nothing. In my case it's like 1 MB of data per month and I'm doing with my car like 1000 km per month

Hi mate. I think this could be easy, because the GPS tracker isn't exclusively locked to some specific SIM card. If you will just replace the old SIM card with the new SIM card. And as a second step go thru whole process described in video again. Give it a shot and let me know :)

@@tsalis2 It's always like that, if you want to work with the GPS tracker over the app, first you should wake it up by call / sms / or by shaking the device. But of course if it isn't working, you better check again the APN setup, it must be 100% correctly set.

Dám príkaz "Shock123456", odpovie "Shock OK", ale po zatrasení žiadny alarm na SMS nepríde. Cez aplikaciu mi alarm funguje, pride hlasenie aplikacie. Len cez SMS mi nič nepríde. Neviete v čom môže byť problém? SIM karta je v poriadku, kredit na nej je. Ďakujem

You're welcome. 1) LED - I think if you will switch it to "off", a possible thief could be thinking the device isn't working - but also, when you will be checking the tracker, you won't know, if the GPS signal is good etc. 2) GPS work mode setting - I have it on option "1.Real time mode(30second/times)", because I want the tracking to be most precise, but of course it could be draining more battery. If you want to prolong the battery life , you could switch it to "Standby mode (24hour/times)" and it will let you know the GPS position every 24 hour despite it's moving. I think it's like this, but never tested this feature so far :)

I would say in 30 secs upload rate & 2 hours driving a day it could last circa for 2 weeks (but it's only my guess, I'm using my car not every single day, and it lasts for 30 days). Just a few basic info: Vibration alarm will be active only after 5 minutes of inactivity (without movement). Hello. By default the device is sleeping after 5 minutes of inactivity. So when you start the app and it's offline, you need to make a call to the device and you will wake it up

Hello Adam. It seems you could have problems with your charger, or with cable. Please try it out with another, stronger charger (for example 2.4A) and with good, reliable cable. It has to charge a lot, because the capacity is 5000 mAh.

When I call my sim card it doesn't send me location . It will respond to SMS commands but it won't send location when I call it. Do you have any ideas? When I call it goes str8 to voicemail but I have minutes.

Anyway, here are some checks, you could do on the tracker: The blue LED on the tracker should be flashing => so, you have correct GPS signal. And the yellow LED should be flashing => so, your data connection is up and running.

Hello. On the bottom of your GPS tracker is small sticker with the ID number on it (something like: 905x xxx xxx). You will use this number as your "name" in the app. And the default "password" is always set to: 123456

So I found this tracker under my car, yes I'm serious. And I have no idea where it came from. There is a simcard in it and the lights are blinking. I took the simcard out because it freaked me out. Anyone know how i can find out the imei code for this device? There is no sticker on the back...
Hi Rahul. Very good question. You need to visit the website platform www.mytkstar.net/ and after you will enter your credentials (your unit ID and default password: 123456) and , in the upper-left corner is option: 'more' - 'upload interval' and there you can enter a minimum 5s refresh time
You just need to open the mobile app "Winnes GPS" - on the bottom of the screen select "Log in by IMEI/ID" and to the "user" field put your IMEI/ID from the tracker, along with default "password" 123456. It should stay saved, for later use
Hi, i received this gps tracker with my new horse float. I have setup a new sim card & have credit on it, have had the provider remove the messagebank. have tried to call the simcard number & tried sms it to no response from gps tracker. the gps tracker is showing orange led with blue flash which I've seen means its getting signal. Have removed simcard & put it in an old iphone & called the number which actually rang. the website & app both show the device as offline. tried to email the support & info email on the website but no response as of yet. Any idea what to try next?
Hi there. First, for correct tracker operation, both LEDs should be blinking/flashing, flashing yellow means you have correct GPRS connection and flashing blue means you have GPS connection. Second, is the PIN number disabled on that SIM card? Because as far I know, when the tracker doesn't respond to SMS or calls, it's the problem of not enought credit on SIM card (not your problem in this case), or SIM card still has its PIN number. If nothing helps, I would try another SIM card.

Like I have a 4G SIM card, but my operator along with the SIM card still supports 2G network, because of IoT and devices like this. So, like a double-check, just ask your current provider, if they still support 2G networks, or you will need to switch to another operator with functional 2G network.
Hi, I'm in SA, I put a Vodacom sim in, I get all the command replies, but on the app it's saying not enabled, tried calling, it will wake up but still says not enabled on the app. I tried apn123456 internet, apn123456 vodacom but nothing. Any clue what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks. This device lasts circa 20 to 30 days - it depends, if it's mostly in sleep mode, or if you are driving a lot with your car / motorbike, then it will drain the battery faster
I can’t track the unit in real time. It’s says “offline” can’t send commands. However, it can receive & send commands back. Doesn’t make any sense & I “can” get the exact location
Hi Sajaad, that's a good question. Originally there should be a label on the GPS tracker with the ID, or IMEI number. If not, insert there your SIM card and message it with command like 'shock123456' and If you receive back a SMS, there should be an ID number of the device (IMEI)
Reason could be: 1)your SIM card doesn't have activated some data package 2)you had some typo in your SMS command, or with wrong password 3)or you didn't setup authorized / admin phone number
Hi I recently bought this tracker and has great features the only problem I have is that every time I text it to set an alarm or turn it off the cost of the sms is €2.20 so I’m using up a lot of credit turning on the alarm every night and turning it off in the morning.Is there a cheaper way to do this?I have the app set up but I have to send a text to wake it up Everytime I turn on or turn off the alarm.It’s eating through my credit am I doing something wrong? Hi Chris. At first, you don't need to disarm 'shock alarm' every time you get in your car and arm it again, when you leave. Because the device will wake-up automatically when it detects movement and after 5 minutes of inactivity goes to sleep. Just turn it ON and leave it. Of course, if you will have a lot of stops exceeding more than 5 minutes of inactivity, every time you will receive another notification SMS and that cost money too. Unfortunately there is no other way for 'shock alarm', only over the SMS. BUT, if you want to minimize the SMS usage, you should try the 'geo fence' feature. You will receive all the notifications directly in your app, when your vehicle leaves defined location, or even more defined locations.
@@morneo3 Hi thanks for your quick reply on it.I turned on the shock alarm last night to test it and when I got into the car and started it up the alarm went off on my phone.I cancelled the alarm on my phone but 5 mins later the alarm went off again as I was driving so I pulled in and sent the sms message no shock to turn it off.So am I right in saying when I cancelled the alarm on my phone the shock alarm should not have gone off a second time while I was driving?thanks Chris
@@chrisl3977 The problem is, when you try to control the 'shock alarm' over the app - unfortunately it's not working. The only working way for controlling 'shock alarm' is only over the SMS commands. It's a pitty it's not working properly from the app.

That's a good question. But let's try to communicate only via SMS - you will put the SIM card into the unit and begin with the configuration over the SMS according to the video. You should be still able to SMS or call your GPS tracker (because you know your SIM mobile number). Please let me know, if all it's working

@@nikosgt2 that's good when it sends you a SMS after you called it. Now after you received that SMS, you can send some SMS commands you need (for example for activating vibration alarm), or make some settings over the app.

Ok so here is the answer I got from the official support: LBS base station positioning LBS base station positioning, the English name is LocationBasedService, or LBS for short, is generally used by mobile phone users. It is a location-based service through telecommunications and mobile operators' radio communication networks (such as GSM networks, CDMA networks) or external positioning methods (such as GPS). A value-added service that obtains the location information (geographic coordinates, or geodetic coordinates) of mobile terminal users and provides users with corresponding services with the support of the GIS (Geographic Information System) platform. Principle: When the mobile phone is registered with the SIM card, the location of the mobile phone can be obtained through a specific algorithm through the signal difference with different base stations, plus the known base station location. WIFI real-time positioning WIFI real-time positioning is a new technology that uses the existing wireless network, cooperates with WIFI tags and related mobile terminal devices such as WIFI mobile phones, PDAs, laptops, etc., and combines it with corresponding positioning algorithms to determine the location of relevant people and items. Principle: WIFI is mainly used for indoor positioning. Like LBS, each wireless AP has a globally unique MAC address. When the WIFI is turned on, the device can scan and collect surrounding AP signals. Regardless of whether it is encrypted or connected, when the signal strength is not strong enough to be displayed in the wireless list, it can obtain the MAC address broadcast by the AP. The device then sends these AP data to the location server. The server retrieves the geographical location of each AP, combines the strength of the signal, calculates the geographical location of the device, and returns it to the user device.

Hello. There is no such command for deleting history as far I know. But, by default, there is only a 2M of history, everything older gets deleted automatically.
after 1 year of use, my device (like this) is not working anymore. When I connect to charger, the red light is on, but when I insert the sim, no more blue light. Maybe you can help me... Mine TK915 doesnt work. the yellow light doesnt blink but blue light yes. Sounds to me, like there is not enough credit on the SIM card, OR that SIM card doesn't support 2G data (because this tracker requires a 2G mobile data network, thus GPRS). And yes, when the yellow light will be blinking it means, your data are working properly on the GPS tracker.
@@morneo3 The sim car was tested on a phone, is loaded with money and on the phone works nice. Im in Germany and we also have here 2g and 3G, im complet lost

You are welcome. The device works like this: it's tracking your movement, and after a few minutes of inactivity it will go to sleep.
And when you will check the device let's say over the app, it seems like not working (or it's on the 'wrong' position). The easiest way is to call directly the device, and by this you will wake up the device and it will send you actual GPS coordinates and it will be alive also on live map in the app.

Thanks Dan. According to the manual there is no way to remove an APN record. But you can reset a whole hardware to factory settings if you want. (send a SMS command: "begin123456")

Thank you. It could be also the case, that your operator doesn't support 2G network anymore, hard to say. Or you can try another prepaid sim card, from another operator
@@morneo3 it does support, and the SIM card works fine in a unlocked mobile device, it seems there was something wrong with the GPS or Im not doing something right

Hello. There is no need for creating account. Every device has is own single credentials.
Go to this website www.mytkstar.net/ and enter your GPS device ID number into first field (you will find it on the back side of GPS unit). And enter default password, which is: 123456 (unless the previous owner didn't changed this default password, it should work).
It's the same procedure, when you will be logging into the android app 'WINNES GPS' (play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.fw.gps.lhyk&hl=en_GB&gl=US)

Thank you. Yes, I have also this experience: when I'm parked in the location out of GPS signal, like underground garage, deep forest etc. - when I call or text my GPS unit, it will send me only last known GPS position.
But still, you can check the GPS position through the app (it could be also not precise because of garage) and most importantly, have your "shock alarm" turned on (send sms: shock123456), so basically when someone will manipulate with your bike, it will send you a warning sms instantly.
Is there any way to set the vibration alarm to send a notification to the app instead of sms text messages? I have a sim with no call and text capability.
There is an option for notifications in the app, under 'alarm setting' - there is a switch for 'vibrator alarm'. But unfortunately, this app notifications about vibrations never worked for me (only over SMS). But, what kind of notifications were always working for me => 'geofence' feature

I see. That's a good question. If you will insert a SIM card into this GPS tracker and configure the whole device according to my video - in the end, if you will call this GPS tracker, it will reveal you the ID number in the incoming SMS

Just find your GPS tracker on the map (or use menu on left-hand side) - click on 'More' - and hit 'Tracking Report' - choose your date and hit 'download' - that will download you a .kml file, which you can open for example in Google Earth and you will see your complete track on the map

Don't forget to disable PIN on the new SIM card and after inserting into the GPS unit, make sure orange and blue light is flashing - in that case your tracker have data correctly running and gps signal is good and it's ready for use

Hello. Yellow light flashing means GPRS connection. Blue light flashing means it has GPS connection. So we are good. If the unit is not responding when you call it, try sending this SMS - G123456#. It should send you back the GPS coordinates along with other info

If the unit isn't online, maybe is in a sleep mode and you will wake it up by a call, or if it isn't working, you don't have enough money on your prepaid card, or maybe data connection of you operator isn't working...

Is it possible to add more GPS unit in the app? I have 8 units and we planned to put it in our cars, but currently we're using Jablotron system and all our cars are covered so far. It is also easier for us, but when I have those units, I would like to use it as well. When I use the desktop web, I can see that there is option of more units probably, but I can't find in the app any way, how to add second and more units there

Hi Filip. The app is designed, you can see and manage only one GPS tracker at one time.
So, for example: I'm logged-in and checking my car thru the GPS unit and when I want to check out my motorbike I need to log out and make a new login with my other GPS tracker credentials.

Since I made the first settings, I only charging the battery once a while, probably 4x or 5x in the year. So far I had no issues at all
What does mean LBS Filter and GPS filter in the device setup configuration?
GPS: GPS coordinates; LBS:Cell Tower (LBS). So, when you have both, the accuracy is more precise, I guess

Hi. Most SMS I receive is from 'vibration alarm' or from 'overspeed alarm'. So try to set off your vibration alarm by sms (it's not very good working over the app) and set the overspeed alarm like to 250 km/h :)

Hello. I guess you changed a mobile operator, thus you will need to change the APN information, because mostly every operator has a different APN name (just like you did with previous SIM card)

I have an issue with the location tracking. Two days ago i set it up, and from then till now, it says LBS stationary, it shows a location address far from my home but in my city. The strange thing is that i accept vibration alarms, but in real time tracking it is stuck on a date two days ago and the location as i said above. Hello. There is not so much you can do, because a lot of movement with the GPS device is causing larger battery drainage. So, if I drive with my car only a few days per week, GPS device could last 1 month. But if you drive with your car intensively, it could last let's say a week

Hi Isabelle, please tell me from which point exactly you cannot move. For example if you will open the app, log in into your GPS tracker and you want to change some settings and the device isn't responding - you should CALL the device first, because it's in sleeping mode most likely. After you will receive SMS from the tracker, you could try to change the settings.

Hi mate. I think this could be easy, because the GPS tracker isn't exclusively locked to some specific SIM card.
If you will just replace the old SIM card with the new SIM card. And as a second step go thru whole process described in video again.

Mám problém, že mi nechodí SMS upozornenie na Shock alarm. Ostatná komunikacia cez SMS funguje. Posiela polohu, odpoveda na prikazy. Dám príkaz "Shock123456", odpovie "Shock OK", ale po zatrasení žiadny alarm na SMS nepríde. Cez aplikaciu mi alarm funguje, pride hlasenie aplikacie. Len cez SMS mi nič nepríde. That's correct, LED lights still works during sleep, until you specifically disable them in application

You're welcome. 1) LED - I think if you will switch it to "off", a possible thief could be thinking the device isn't working - but also, when you will be checking the tracker, you won't know, if the GPS signal is good etc. 2) GPS work mode setting - I have it on option "1.Real time mode(30second/times)", because I want the tracking to be most precise, but of course it could be draining more battery. If you want to prolong the battery life , you could switch it to "Standby mode (24hour/times)" and it will let you know the GPS position every 24 hour despite it's moving. I think it's like this, but never tested this feature so far :)

@@Carlosyo2905, you are welcome! I would say in 30 secs upload rate & 2 hours driving a day it could last circa for 2 weeks (but it's only my guess, I'm using my car not every single day, and it lasts for 30 days).
In the app you could set a minimum 30 seconds upload rate, but if you will login via web interface: www.mytkstar.net/Monitor.aspx

Just a few basic info: Vibration alarm will be active only after 5 minutes of inactivity (without movement). You can activate it by sending sms: 'shock123456'
And deactivate by sending: 'noshock123456'

Hello Adam. It seems you could have problems with your charger, or with cable. Please try it out with another, stronger charger (for example 2.4A) and with good, reliable cable. It has to charge a lot, because the capacity is 5000 mAh.

Hi Thomas. The default setting is the device will go offline after 5 minutes. Unfortunately I'm not aware this interval could be changed.

When I call my sim card it doesn't send me location . It will respond to SMS commands but it won't send location when I call it. Do you have any ideas? When I call it goes str8 to voicemail but I have minutes.

Anyway, here are some checks, you could do on the tracker:
The blue LED on the tracker should be flashing => so, you have correct GPS signal.
And the yellow LED should be flashing => so, your data connection is up and running.

Hello. On the bottom of your GPS tracker is small sticker with the ID number on it (something like: 905x xxx xxx).
You will use this number as your "name" in the app. And the default "password" is always set to: 123456

You just need to open the mobile app "Winnes GPS" - on the bottom of the screen select "Log in by IMEI/ID" and to the "user" field put your IMEI/ID from the tracker, along with default "password" 123456. It should stay saved, for later use
Hi, i received this gps tracker with my new horse float. I have setup a new sim card & have credit on it, have had the provider remove the messagebank. have tried to call the simcard number & tried sms it to no response from gps tracker. the gps tracker is showing orange led with blue flash which I've seen means its getting signal. Have removed simcard & put it in an old iphone & called the number which actually rang. the website & app both show the device as offline. tried to email the support & info email on the website but no response as of yet. Any idea what to try next?
Hi there. First, for correct tracker operation, both LEDs should be blinking/flashing, flashing yellow means you have correct GPRS connection and flashing blue means you have GPS connection. Second, is the PIN number disabled on that SIM card? Because as far I know, when the tracker doesn't respond to SMS or calls, it's the problem of not enought credit on SIM card (not your problem in this case), or SIM card still has its PIN number. If nothing helps, I would try another SIM card.

Hi. Here are some checks, you could do on the tracker:
1) the blue LED on the tracker should be flashing => so, you have correct GPS signal

3) in the app 'Winnes gps' in the settings icon 'issue command' you need to set 'SOS number', so GPS tracker is eligible to communicate with your SIM card.

Like I have a 4G SIM card, but my operator along with the SIM card still supports 2G network, because of IoT and devices like this.
So, like a double-check, just ask your current provider, if they still support 2G networks, or you will need to switch to another operator with functional 2G network.

Thanks. This device lasts circa 20 to 30 days - it depends, if it's mostly in sleep mode, or if you are driving a lot with your car / motorbike, then it will drain the battery faster

Hi Sajaad, that's a good question. Originally there should be a label on the GPS tracker with the ID, or IMEI number.
If not, insert there your SIM card and message it with command like 'shock123456' and If you receive back a SMS, there should be an ID number of the device (IMEI)

Hi I recently bought this tracker and has great features the only problem I have is that every time I text it to set an alarm or turn it off the cost of the sms is €2.20 so I’m using up a lot of credit turning on the alarm every night and turning it off in the morning.Is there a cheaper way to do this?I have the app set up but I have to send a text to wake it up Everytime I turn on or turn off the alarm.It’s eating through my credit am I doing something wrong? Hi Chris. At first, you don't need to disarm 'shock alarm' every time you get in your car and arm it again, when you leave. Because the device will wake-up automatically when it detects movement and after 5 minutes of inactivity goes to sleep.
Just turn it ON and leave it. Of course, if you will have a lot of stops exceeding more than 5 minutes of inactivity, every time you will receive another notification SMS and that cost money too.
Unfortunately there is no other way for 'shock alarm', only over the SMS.
BUT, if you want to minimize the SMS usage, you should try the 'geo fence' feature. You will receive all the notifications directly in your app, when your vehicle leaves defined location, or even more defined locations.
@@morneo3 Hi thanks for your quick reply on it.I turned on the shock alarm last night to test it and when I got into the car and started it up the alarm went off on my phone.I cancelled the alarm on my phone but 5 mins later the alarm went off again as I was driving so I pulled in and sent the sms message no shock to turn it off.So am I right in saying when I cancelled the alarm on my phone the shock alarm should not have gone off a second time while I was driving?thanks Chris
@@chrisl3977 The problem is, when you try to control the 'shock alarm' over the app - unfortunately it's not working.
The only working way for controlling 'shock alarm' is only over the SMS commands.
It's a pitty it's not working properly from the app.

That's a good question. But let's try to communicate only via SMS - you will put the SIM card into the unit and begin with the configuration over the SMS according to the video. You should be still able to SMS or call your GPS tracker (because you know your SIM mobile number). Please let me know, if all it's working

@@nikosgt2 that's good when it sends you a SMS after you called it. Now after you received that SMS, you can send some SMS commands you need (for example for activating vibration alarm), or make some settings over the app.

Ok so here is the answer I got from the official support: LBS base station positioning LBS base station positioning, the English name is LocationBasedService, or LBS for short, is generally used by mobile phone users. It is a location-based service through telecommunications and mobile operators' radio communication networks (such as GSM networks, CDMA networks) or external positioning methods (such as GPS). Principle: When the mobile phone is registered with the SIM card, the location of the mobile phone can be obtained through a specific algorithm through the signal difference with different base stations, plus the known base station location. WIFI real-time positioning WIFI real-time positioning is a new technology that uses the existing wireless network, cooperates with WIFI tags and related mobile terminal devices such as WIFI mobile phones, PDAs, laptops, etc., and combines it with corresponding positioning algorithms to determine the location of relevant people and items. Principle: WIFI is mainly used for indoor positioning. Like LBS, each wireless AP has a globally unique MAC address. When the WIFI is turned on, the device can scan and collect surrounding AP signals. Regardless of whether it is encrypted or connected, when the signal strength is not strong enough to be displayed in the wireless list, it can obtain the MAC address broadcast by the AP. The device then sends these AP data to the location server. The server retrieves the geographical location of each AP, combines the strength of the signal, calculates the geographical location of the device, and returns it to the user device.

Hello. There is no such command for deleting history as far I know. But, by default, there is only a 2M of history, everything older gets deleted automatically.
after 1 year of use, my device (like this) is not working anymore. When I connect to charger, the red light is on, but when I insert the sim, no more blue light. Maybe you can help me... Mine TK915 doesnt work. the yellow light doesnt blink but blue light yes. So i tried to activate the yellow light (gprs signal i guess) with the comands begin123456 and GPRS123456 but i never receive back an answer from the tracker. Ofc the SIM card is without pin and i tested first on the phone, and all was working there, so what could be the problem?
Sounds to me, like there is not enough credit on the SIM card, OR that SIM card doesn't support 2G data (because this tracker requires a 2G mobile data network, thus GPRS).
And yes, when the yellow light will be blinking it means, your data are working properly on the GPS tracker.
@@morneo3 The sim car was tested on a phone, is loaded with money and on the phone works nice. Im in Germany and we also have here 2g and 3G, im complet lost
