I know this is an old youtube, but one thing lingering in my mind. if we stop co2 from passing through with solenoid, then where the CO2 goes? is it compiled on the bottle, or solenoid does make the excess CO2 out through this solenoid? or if it is compiled on the bottle, then the pressure will be control by safety valve when the pressure reach its max? thank you in advance for answering this, because it is kind of confusing to me
Depends on the brand. As I said in the video, the ones from ebay made in china seems to always run hot. The one on my Aquatek doesn't seem to run as hot but it does get warm.

How do you connect the selenoid to the co2 tubing in the diy. my selenoid could not connect to the tube. it only connects to a co2 regulator. is there a special adaptor to attach it to the tube?

Gosh i have been looking for this video forever. My problem is that once the solenoid turns off pressure mounts n the tubing pops off. Any recommendations?
It could be? Doesn't your connection betwenen the regulator and the solenoid have tightening screws? It shouldn't just pop out like that. But you can try a longer hose. That should help.
i have a regulator without a built in solenoid switch - as you alluded to in your final comments. but the question is: how do i go about purchasing a solenoid switch for this regulator.
I have a question: how exactly does the hose solenoid work with manual systems?.. Doesn't CO2 build up in the hose segment between the valve and cannister, causing the hose to burst?
Not if you go the correct hose with the correct rating. If you use your normal cheap air hose, it won't hold much PSI. If you get co2 hoses, those are usually made with tougher material rated for higher PSI. Then you have to make sure you have good secured fittings.
@@TheWaterBox Thank you for clarifying this. I had it happen to me before but I was using a regular air hose and it went bang in about 1 hr after the solenoid activated. I wanted to confirm if there is something else I needed to depressurize or if it's just the hose.

Guys please help me 😣😣 So i removed my betta fish to do a 90% water change (cause have an algae problem and missed a water change for 2 days) and after doing the water change and acclimation, i netted my betta and placed him in his tank but i noticed that his left fin wasnt moving and that he was very weak. Im scared that he might die in a couple of hours from now. What should I do?!? Please. Anyone. Help. 😣😢😳
Edit : I also noticed that he has clamped fins... 😣
I'm not sure how to help here. Why are you doing a 90% water change and why are you taking out your fish to do it? How is the fish looking now?
The Water Box the betta is fine now. But i was so scared that he might die 😥
