- Investigators say the deaths of an infant and two adults at three separate locations in metro Los Angeles on Monday were the result of a “family dispute” that turned into a double murder-suicide.
The bizarre and gruesome sequence of events began inside a unit at the upscale Montecito Apartments on Variel Avenue in Woodland Hills at about 3:30 a.m. when, according to police, neighbors heard an argument involving a man and a woman. Later that morning, one neighbor said she stepped out of her apartment and saw blood everywhere.

I just posted the same thing! WHAT is going on?! This is everyday now, for the last several years! This type of thing used to be so rare, that in 52 years, the three most famous cases since I was a kid was Diane Down in the early 80s, Susan Smith around 94' and Andrea Yates in the early 2000s. None of them took themselves out though. But this is just sheer madness! 😢😢

I'm in my 40s, and I absolutely remember that people were just as violent back when I was young and even more violent back before the sixties. You probably just weren't paying attention to the news as much and definitely didn't have the type of saturation we do now.

As a first responder over 19 years inner city I’ve handled many fatal car accidents and in the last 3 years especially have witnessed the carnage of what happens when someone snaps like that lady did. That poor child has lost her entire family. Prayers for her recovery physically and mentally. What a mess, and a nightmare for those who had to pick up the pieces of her erratic behavior. 🥺

If those who read the Bible and who call ourselves followers of Jesus, who came to love, protect, forgive and reconcile, would lead by example through words and actions, maybe we can direct those who are challenged and hurting towards the one who loved all His creation so much that He died in the cross to save them. There is hope and peace in Him.

I don't know how it's even possible to go crazy and do bad stuff in a place like LA; I'd be super happy just to be in such a sunny place with stable weather.
