Not only it looks good and has a very well proportionate design but it also offers similar riding experience by undercutting the harley in terms of pricing. Sure the hero doesn't' get the fancy UPside down front forks or TFT display compared to the harley but the hero offers value for money , has a great service network and easy to maintain as well. All in all the hero is the clear winner.

This is personal opinion and I wanna say this. For me, a USD forks is a must have or a hygiene thing to have in a 400cc bike. Cause for me, USD forks works well on roads with speed breakers. If anyone wants say anything like, 'no you are wrong, price is the important factor for not adding usd on maverick', etc. I DON'T CARE.
First: the 440cc in the x440 delivers slightly more torque than the mavrick, which translates to better response when you get on the gas. A while later: The torque being 2nm less than the x440, however, there are two ways by which the mavrick levels the playing field. One, the bike weighs 3 kilos lesser and two, according to hero, the bike delivers 90% of the peak torque right around the 2000rpm mark. The result, the motorcycle has a highly refined and tractable nature, it also feels quicker and is happier to hit the redline between the two. Mind clarifying what that means? Do you mean that when ridden within powerband, somewhere midway, the X440 feels faster? (and the Mavrick is better both in the lows as well as the highs?)
Basically due to smaller tyres and less weight mavrick comes above x440 in terms of riding dynamics , although if u want that hefty feel of abike then x440 is better

You have proved nothing! The x440 is miles ahead in the torque delivery, mavrick largely misses that,though keeping the same engine.mavrick moves lethargic even compared to cb 350. Gear shifting is not as smooth(in both x440 and mavrick)as TVS Ronin. Mavrick just looks like coming from fzs 150 segment. The good thing about your review is, the x440 is an amazing handler,it just feels like a paper heavy while moving and nimblest i have ever seen. Mavrick is a meh... And finally,many do not know that hero manufacturing Harley davidson.So,when you ride x440,the awesomeness will be there in even 2 tier cities....such is the brand pulling of Harley. Same,when you ride mavrick,they will see hero...and the excitement dies and splendor feel start awakening..what a loss

Trust me. Hero bikes looks good on paper and photo. Don't ever trust . Hero's mechanism of after sales service through very unexperienced mechanics in their service centres are worst part of the company mainly in the tier 2/3 cities. Also after BS6 generation all Hero bikes has new problems and issues every day and the most annoying thing is that even their mechanics Don't have any idea how to solve those issues. Don't just buy from Hero.
