My x440 already crossed 18000 km here is my honest review. 1. horn problem:dnt depend on your horn it wont work sometimes . 2. Engine sound: it make unusual sound from the engine but after many complaints no action taken till date. 3. Gear problem: sometimes you experience gear hardness while riding. 4. Heating problem of engine .5. ignition issue: dont switch off your bike in traffic it gives you embarrassing feeling dont start at time. 6. Service engineer: they dont had any idea about issue even they suggest me to adjust chain after 100 km which is was shocking to me . Overall not support from harley davidson and local dealership is worst . My dealer is Beekay auto siliguri west bengal
That mirror helps the driver see the area next to front-left fender. Extremely functional for large vehicle's blind spot when moving left. Reliable solution from before 360deg cameras and sensors.

This bike is indeed quite underrated as of now. The engine refinement is surprisingly quite impressive and so is the exhaust note. People dislike the rear end of this bike, but it looks good in person. Go try it out if you haven't already.
Sales are same as Speed 400. It might be selling even more. Speed 400 & 400x sold around 2500 units in November 2023 while harley sold around 2200 units. With 80% of sales for top model that costs over 3 lakh Harley is selling very well. Its also best selling bike over 3 lakhs.

No, it is a new engine developed by hero with some help of Harley Davidson. It is build from scratch by hero. That's why they are making hero mavrick 400 on this plateform because it is hero engine.
6th gear is overdrive..Its just for cruising..In 5th gear it will easily touch 140 without much effort..But the cruising speed is around 110 to 120 km/h which is more than enough for our roads..Also comparing this bike to Speed 400 makes no sense as Speed is completely different technically..This is a competitor to Highness and probably RE classic..

X440 use long stroke engine, the long-stroke engine reaches its peak torque at a relatively lower RPM. The engines create the perfect amount of torque in the lower range. Therefore, the long-stroke engine is best-suited for cruisers, tourers, and long-distance bikes.

I observe mirrors, I can sense vibrations. It's impressive how Royal Enfield has significantly reduced vibrations in their Standard and Classic models. I didn't anticipate such vibrations in a Harley, especially in the 3 lakh price range.
Why is usb a is bad ? Usb c is used for most of the Mobiles to charge. But the cables are usb a to c. Not c to c . So if it was only c type..then it was a problem for most of the users who don't use premium phones
Scrambler 400x with a 70kg pillion on sixth gear from 60 kmph reached 130+ while slowly opening 70-80% throttle. It took around 30 seconds to reach that speed. Did it on the Salem highway. I could feel vibrations from 100kmph and it became really high at 130+.

Quality levels are still very low but the engine is a gem and it sounds amazing. There will be better bikes on this platform I think.

I think it's a slightly tweaked version of that , they took one half of it and changed it a bit
