On checking the most recent fifa publication, it doesn't say what it did before that players are cap tied if they appear in an official "A" game final completion despite their age. But while looking through it I saw that we might have a chance to take Reheem Sterling to the 2026 WC. The rules say that a player can change federations if they have not played for their current federation for 3 years. If he isn't called again Reheem would not have played for England in three years, by March 2016 before the next world cup.

Fifa has a rule where if youbare under the age of 21 and play less than 3 matches for a country, he/she can switch allegiance.
That match was June 6, 2024. He turned 21 on June 30, 2024. So he can play for Jamaica.
