FYI u can still bring fish onto the plane in closed bags. I've done it several times. U let TSA know what u have so they don't get sent thru the x-ray machine and they will swab the bag for explosives. Only airlines that u may run into an issue is SW and Delta since they do cargo as well. I've flown on spirit and American with np!

The rarest fish there and it wasn't even mentioned was the Hawaiian hogfish aka bodianus sanguineus.
