Hey TJ, you should look into taking an MSF course. Even though you have tons of experience riding, street can be a lot different than dirt. You’ll learn a lot about safety on the street too which will likely prove to be useful.

You have be a defensive rider. Watch what the other person is doing. I myself has a bad motorcycle accident and it was because someone turned in front of me and I hit the passenger door. I still ride but not as much as before. Please be safe.
Also been in an accident and lived due to proper gear. Landed on my head. Didn't even break anything, just dislocated my shoulder. Absolutely take a course and GEAR UP
@@sweettee3647 same here, a kid cut me off as I was coming off an exit and I just had to lay the bike down and slide, luckily it was just some rash but I took the rest of the summer off riding n hopefully gonna get out a few days this year. Definitely shakes you a bit

Congrats man! I had a 2019 street bob and loved it, I would do a stage 2 cam(for the lopes), a 2 to 1 exhaust, and an intake. With the 114 there will be plenty of power once you tune it for the cam

Never been on a bike in my life, but this is sick. Bike vlogs are so insanely entertaining because you can film the entire thing, vs car vlogs. Stoked for this, a new twist we didn’t know we needed every once and a while.

Can't wait to see more motorcycle content! I've never personally been a big fan of Harleys specifically I'm more a fan of like Kawasakis and stuff like that but I love motorcycles and can't wait to see more!

Super stoked you got a bike! I have an 06 Dyna. If you put the taller mono shock in the rear, mx foot pegs, and a good bar/riser combo on your bike it will feel a lot more like a dirt bike. More ground clearance = more lean angle/aggressive riding 👍🏼👍🏼

Go for it man, nice to see your first reaction of what a different perspective motorcycle riding is. Get in contact with Vance&Hines for an exhaust, aircleaner and fuelpack that you can tune and customize the mapping as crazy as pops and bangs. Custom Dynamics led lights are a good upgrade for the turn signals and rear lights. Have fun modding your bike currious what you will make of it and try some different bikes😜✊

ive got a street bob as well! dope that you got one. as for mods, I'd get the moons fly eye v2 LED headlight, t bars, fork wraps from amazon, 1FNGR easy pull levers, Flo motorsports footpegs and shift peg, TBR comp 2 into 1 exhaust, dominator mx t bars, and for your lights, just get smoked out lenses and swap out your bulbs for LEDs for your blinkers and brake lights. and also have vance and Hines v02 air cleaner with a vance and Hines FP3 tuner.

You could always invert the mirrors, cleans up the look of the bars. Loved it on my V-Rod.

I have a 2020 streetbob. I have a 3/4 fairing paint matched, pled audio, I got rid of the shock covers, my turn signals upfront and in the rear are LED the brand is Moons MC awesome company that specializes in lights, I have a Vance and hines 2 into 1 upswept, thrashin supply bags in the rear, thrashin supply bar bag, 10 inch riser and bars, BungKing rear passenger pegs that are also a rear crash bar, FLO adjustable levers, arlen ness grips, screaming eagle intake, 1” 3/4 extended suspension block (BungKing), 2” Fork tube extensions, Smoked turn signal covers from MoonsMC. Good brands that I like are BungKing, MoonsMC, FLO, Plex audio (if you want music), Thrashin Supply. Love the Harley can’t wait to see what your gonna do.
Hey TJ, I have the same bike and I can help ya out with parts to get. For the bars you should go with thrashin 9.5 in. Pullback risers with the cutout for the digital gauge, thrashin mid bend bars, the only thing you need to extend for that is the gauge cable. You can get one off of Guerrilla cables (get the 25”). Def get an intake and a 2 into 1 exhaust; good ones are thrashins exhaust, two brothers (either the turnout or just the regular) or bassani. Then to accompany those you will need a tune/tuner. The dynamax tuner is a great option. For the turn signals, drag specialties makes some great, minimal led ones. Kodlin motorcycles makes some really cool minimal led tail indicators. Cycle visions makes a cool license plate relocation bracket. Lastly a Memphis shades road warrior fairing would look awesome as well. And then of course some grips, foot pegs, shifter peg would be a great addition.
Also please do a bunch of content on the bike I know I’d love to see it and I’m sure many more of us would as well

Congratulations! I grew up on dirt bikes as well, my first road motorcycle was a 2008 Harley Davidson nightster. Now I ride an 2008 Harley Davidson Deluxe in black pearl! Love it. I also have a 1972 ironhead I wrench on every now and then that’s hard tailed.
Moons MC for LED lights. Bassasni exhaust is pretty nice. Legends suspension for sure. Any kind of fairing would be nice less wind

Under perch indicators front, tail tidy with run brake turn signals Intergrated plate mount , Arlen ness mini oval mirrors , burleigh 14 inch high ball bars , swap out to some rsd foot pegs, black out levers, tbr 2 into 1 exhaust legends rear air suspension . New intake and a thundermax ecu

Just bought the 22 streetbob, some of the best mods to make for me include slip on exhaust, thrashin supply essentials saddle bags, a front fairing and maybe some grips.
After owning a few Harley's myself and working at a dealership, Harley does sell LED front and rear turn signals. They also make the smoked lense cover for the fronts like you said. They also make hardware for the sissy bar that makes it a quick detach rather than having to remove bolts. When i had my Streetbob, I put forward controls on there to stretch my legs out a little further.

What are the odds totally understand what your saying by far the best purchase I’ve ever made something about just coasting 10/10 for sure exhaust is a must though they come super quiet from factory 🙅🏽♂️

Do a small cam and exhaust. You will fall in love with the sound. As far as the rest, love the idea for led lights, you can get a smaller sissy bar so it fits the bike more and do a ceramic coat on it yourself! Some harley dealers do a ceramic coat on their bikes but they suck!

MoonsMC Has those led lights I got them on mine
Rogue Industries for the leds. They make led switch backs for the turns and you can get smoked covers. Same for the rear.
Flo Motorsports makes sick MX style levers for Harley’s.

Teej congrats on the new bike, I don’t know if Harley fixed the oil pump issue on the newer m8s or not but might be worth looking at upgrading it and possibly doing a cam while you’re inside
Tj once you get comfortable on your 114 you can start upgrading the motor with screaming eagle. The screaming eagle is a company with Harley that build fast bikes or motors that put out a lot of hp. I had a 2016 heritage with the 103 in it but after a while I upgraded the cam and headers and tune to the screaming eagle stage two so I can have more horsepower and better sounds. That went through my vancin Hines exhaust. But awesome bike bro. Ride safe out there.

Custom dynamics are where it’s at for turn signals. The front can be white and when you activate turn signal they change to amber. You can also get clear lenses. Clear is better for visibility. I have an 08 fat boy and I have these on front and back along with my brake light.

TJ, keep it simple. Louder pipes, Ciro 3D LED blinker set up, detachable sissy bar/bags kit, Meathook Apes, nicer mirrors and Daymaker LED headlight. Later, suspension and seat.

Go either different mini apes or risers with pro taper bars, chain drive instead of belt drive, intake, smoked signal light lenses, maybe mount your plate to the rear fender, those front signals need mounted to the forks, flip those mirrors upside down you'll have to put right on left and left on right. maybe some white walls to add a lil sumsum.

I started watching 8 years ago when i got my FRS...3 years ago i started riding harley's and sold my FRS and just have my Harley and a Truck...i still watch the videos and I'm super stoked that you got on a H-D... i used to have a 2020 street bob also which is cool! Now I have a 2005 Dyna Lowrider! 🤘🏼
