Thanks for the great video! I make the homemade "copy cat" Farmers dog recipe. My 3 dogs love it. I wonder if anyone has the recipe for the Nom nom? I like the looks of the chopped consistency opposed to the mushy look on the Farmers Dog.
We been getting Farmers Dog going on two years now. Our Turkey dinners have very little texture. Maybe they made you a special batch. We have standard poodles. The breed is fairly well known for being picky. We do have to add homemade chicken shredded in the Farmers Dog. Our dogs really love the Stella’s desiccated dry raw. Origins are also in the mix. When they leave food in the dish it’s always the dry food no matter what brand we try. Ant thoughts?
Thank you for this! Our mini dachshund has been on Nom Nom for about six weeks now and she absolutely loves it!! It's funny because I watched a RUclips video of a girl who did a taste test with her dog on Nom Nom, the Farmers Dog and accompany named, Ollie. Her dog chose Nom Nom every time. I think it's really really cool that you tasted the food yourself to give your opinion but maybe dogs taste differently. Maybe what tastes worse to us, tastes better to them, lol🤷♀️ either way, I'd rather let my dog decide which food tastes best..
OK I love this because I always taste my dogs dog food and smell it and view it… He has saved my life twice. He deserves to have the best he is 16 and I am shocked that you’re not testing out badlands Ranch that is one of the three dogs I feed him primarily due to the preparation and the lions mane as my dog is 16 now I expect him to go over the 20 year mark.😊
Often times my dog won’t even eat or try any food until I lick it first I’m pretty sure there’s some dog behavior related to that and him thinking I’m his mommy😂❤
When I compare these, NomNom is more expensive than The Farmer's dog...but multiple reviews say the same thing, that NomNom is less expensive, what am I missing?
Yes, we made a mistake. We are releasing an updated cost comparison video shortly. They are pretty similar in price, nom nom is slightly more expensive. So sorry for the inconvenience.
Omg! I can’t believe you tasted them! Whaaatt!, I buy FD for my two golden but it’s $$$! I think it doesn’t look that good like you noted and I have to say the packaging is not ideal, kinda wet and messy when squeezing it out. Thank you 🙏
If you had to pick ONLY ONE fresh dog food brand for your dog, which one would it be? I have a 2 year old XL American Bully. I have a shipment from farmers dog on the way but i don’t want to have to order one of each. If you could only pick one, which would it be?
I would’ve been more impressed if you’d actually eaten the farmer’s dog chicken recipe. It smells bad and looks worse. I’ve switched my dog to nomnom at least it doesn’t smell bad.
You compare nomnom chicken and farmers dog turkey. That comparing apples and oranges. You need to compare chicken from nomnom and chicken from farmers dog. Even though farmers dog chicken stinks and looks bad. I know this because I’ve been feeding it to my dog for 18 months. Pretty sure that’s why you chose the turkey 😁
@@wildchild2233 Gotcha! Yep, you're correct. Although, it wasn't malicious - our box had came with three recipes (turkey, beef, pork if I remember correctly), so we just made the closest comparison with what we had.
I think you'd get more views if we could see your reaction right after. No one expects dog food to be palatable to humans. And hilarity might ensue, creating viral videos.😂

Sounds ruff. Perhaps you could try moistening the dry food with water or broth?
The Nom nom website says it uses “premium” ingredients which makes me question if it’s human-grade (as Farmer’s Dog claims).

Glad your pup likes Nom Nom!

That’s so awesome! He sounds like a great pup 😊. We’ll have to look into Badlands Ranch.
Haha. Reminds me of us humans 😄

Haha. Our pleasure! Glad you found it helpful!
I’m using farmer’s dog for my lab and I’m noticing his stools are very dry. Has anybody noticed that?

Tough question! Probably the farmer’s dog, but hard to say for certain
@hutt716 Nom Nom uses ingredients sourced in the US, the food meets USDA and AAFCO standards, HOWEVER it's NOT cooked in USDA-certified kitchens.
Thanks, this is fantastic ❤
Our pleasure! Thanks for watching
Dogs don’t need peas

I did, check out my The Farmer’s Dog review

Regardless if you're just going for a professional viewpoint, it was very informative and you got a like and sub from me.
Good point, we agree! We started editing the videos more that way as time went on, but didn't do it in the earlier videos. Thanks for the feedback!
Thanks so much for both 😀 glad you enjoyed!
Wow thanks so much for sharing this priceless information ❤ ✌
I could so be your co-host give me a fork-was wondering if you’re a sous chef as well?
Eating is more fun with friends! I do cook quite a bit, but not professionally.
I'd watch it lol
