The layette set is so adorable! The recipient is going to LOVE it. I currently have no knitting WIPs. I do have three cross stitch projects, a quilt in progress and spinning. Boy, when I say it like this it doesn't seem like much. 😆
I love that you are not a yarn snob. I have a lot of wips. I don't want to know the exact amount. Lol. What I've been doing this past year is alternating between finishing up a wip and beginning a new project. I've finished about 6 or 7 wips and about the same amount of new projects. I'll keep doing this for the next couple of years until the wips are gone.
The look on your face when you picked up your WIP notebook...LOL I think I have probably 10, but I could be wrong on that count. Im focusing on my Whitmoor though, because I love how yours looks!
I've seen people say they have over 90 and 100 wips, so it could be worse... While I currently only have four wips (two are longterm fingering weight blankets), I need to get the other two wips (one's a blanket), plus another blanket, a fingering weight cardigan, and 5 more sock-sized projects done before the end of the year. I'm not a fast crafter, so that amount is elephant-sized for me. But, you know, one bite at a time... Thanks for showing the turtle romper unbuttoned; in all the times I've seen it, I never knew it was like that. That's really cool! I don't think you mentioned it before, and forgive me if you have and I missed it, but for your rhss stripes project- did you toy with the counts and hook until you liked the pooling, or did the ball band give you a pattern to follow? Did you say you're using a 4mm hook with (I'm guessing) aran weight? No wonder your hands hurt. You seriously have my deepest sympathies.😖 It looks really neat though!
@@christinescamihorn6609 I watched a video on RUclips about color pooling. They go through how to determine your hook size and how to “fudge” without it showing visually. Yes, 4mm. Le sigh. It is worsted. One day I will get it finished.
Wow im sure you’ll get a lot of knitting done😊

@@MsPogo all yarns have a place. I have been at all price points in my lifetime. Great plan on wiping down.
