    Another great video. Thank you for sharing! I am from Mexico, and I love seeing how other people from different countries think about this beautiful place, a lot of us take things for granted.

      That's so true. I'm native to Wisconsin and spend summers in Oregon. It's easy to take places for granted when we are "from there." But possible to find awe anywhere!

    Another great video Brighton! I wanted to add another reason it's so safe here is because vecinos/neighbors are aware of each other. There's a real sense of community, even if you're not talking all the time, you're waving & acknowledging each other every day, which brings a lovely sense of safety.

    I agree with what you said about the families from different generations hanging out together and being happy, also one of my favorite things about México and also true about how divisive and judgy the US feels rn.
    I really enjoyed all the things Chip said, it made it so much more special when he would talk about his SF experiences. I lived there for years and it has a special place in my heart.
    Keep up with the great job 🎉

    WE YES WE love the tropical vibe there. Green is good (in nature not in the furniture or on the walls lol). Pam is a retired English teacher, loves to put on Shakespearian plays, before you moan some with a twist. I'm a retired asphalt pilot that likes to tinker. Carpentry, Driving, Mechanical, Welding and the 1 I'd like to drop, cutting grass. We love nature. Just outside we have deer that visit day and night. Eagles and Osprey that fly and fish all the time. Otters and Seals have a favorite island just offshore and yes (Brighton) humming birds as well. I guess I'm saying we have a path. We just need to sell off here when we can and live a little. So.... Another good one Mr. B. P n D

    Sounds great, but why aren't low income people or the homeless population entitled to have a program to help them get through their midlife crisis? Only wealthy people who can afford to pay are entitled to these workshops? Financial aid is what? A loan that people still have to pay off with money they might not have?

    • @ModernElderAcademy
      @ModernElderAcademy 10 месяцев назад +2

      hi @resmith18SR Thanks for asking. At MEA, we care deeply about personal growth and education for all regardless of economic status and offer generous financial aid foremost of our workshops.
      Financial Aid is not a loan that someone has to pay back.
      We offer two options:
      1) Gold: Participants are responsible for $3,000 tuition (50% of full workshop tuition) and their travel costs.
      2) Platinum: Participants are responsible for only $500 tuition (only 8% of full workshop tuition) and their travel costs.
      Our entire society is made stronger when everyone has the opportunity to learn, participate, and grow, regardless of economic status. MEA is committed to supporting personal growth and educational programming for all.
