    Great finds. For the basket, I would take a needle and thread (or fishing line) and sew it up from the inside. I would definitely tea wash that picture! I have bought several oil paintings that I loved the scenery, but the flowers were orange or red...I painted the flowers a pink and I loved the painting. The checkers and chess set is a great find! Sorry, didn't see till after I finished the video that there had been many suggestions to sew the basket.

    The wooden dresser behind you is gorgeous!!! I'm obsessed!! The lantern could be placed on a dresser with a candle placed in it.

      Thank you!! I found it over a year ago on offer up and I’ve been waiting for so long to clean it up and use it and I finally got to in my recent living room makeover!!! And I hadn’t thought to do that with the lantern! I’m not sure how I could get it to sit on it’s own but I like that idea!

      @@brookesimplybliving To make sure the candle doesn't wobble, light another candle and hold it under the bottom of the candle you intend to use, dripping warm wax to the bottom of the glass lamp so it puddles then quickly blow out the other candle, and with both freed hands hold the glass lamp with one hand and press the candle down with warmed bottom into the puddle of melted wax, keeping it straight. Because it will harden very quickly in that position and stay up

      Thank you for this tip! I usually stick to my battery operated taper candles since I have a big doggo who likes to zoom around and knock things down but this is definitely a smart idea for keeping true candles in place. Thank you!

    GREAT VIDEO... Beautiful Pup. You could use the old brass light fixture as a Cloche... You could also use thin clear fishing line to stitch your basket back together.

    The candle sticks with the napkin rings are Home Interior. They were very popular in the late 70's.

    You can fix it with fishing line. Using a large needle. Making sure to use a chane stich.

    You can easily hot glue the basket or zigzag stitch it on the sewing machine.

    I've used jute twine to sew those kind of damaged baskets. Beautiful frames. That set of candle sticks are my favorite.

      Not silly at all! I’m so sorry, I totally didn’t explain at all in this video, but it is a battery powered remote controlled light bulb that you can plug into any normal socket and make work without wiring electrical! I should have explained in this video, but I have explained and showed examples of using it in some other videos of mine if you would like to see it in action! I know I used it in episode 5 of my living room makeover and also in my entryway makeover video.

    Use hot glue to glue the basket piece back together. And u won’t be able to notice it was broken 😊

    Just stitch up the hole with some fishing line, works like a charm! Also use your flower frog as a pen holder and get some pretty pens

      😂 that message went off by its self. With a " U" shaped needle you could fix the slit in basket and stop it from getting larger

    Ok. First, I just saw 3 of those same exact lights at my local restore today. If you want, I can get it and mail it to you? Second, you can get twine and a large needle and handstitch the hole in the bowl.

      I could NOT believe those napkin ring candlesticks and when I tell you I gasped when I saw that chess set at the estate sale I was so excited because I’ve wanted a pretty stone one that doubles as decor for a while now and I can’t believe I found it 😭❤️
      And thanks, he’s my best buddy and sometimes he’s a little needier than others haha, he likes to inspect all my finds 😂 but I don’t mind and I’m glad you don’t either 🥰

When I’m editing them it’s really loud and feels like I’m yelling at you haha but I’ll try to keep it in mind and maybe make it louder than I think it needs to be so you have a little more control over it with your own tv and volume controls! Hopefully the next one will be better! 🥰

    I didn't know vests were a thing! So are the arm holes low and showing your bra or are they popular when they are tighter to your armpit? If that makes sense.

      It makes sense! So I guess it depends on the size of the vest but mine is definitely oversized! But luckily the arm holes arnt too too large so it doesn’t show my bra on the sides but they are loose! If that makes sense lol.

It just happened that since this haul was a collection of different trips over the past few weeks I had forgotten most of the prices by the time I filmed the haul 😅 but yes I do like to share the deals and prices when I can remember!
