I just made 6 pints of fresh peaches and made our jelly from peelings..5 pints...thank you for inspiring me., and showing me how. ❤❤❤
With all the technological ‘advances’ we’ve made, you’d think someone would have invented smell-a-vision already!! LOL
LOOKS AMAZING!! 💗
Wanda, I have never added butter to my peach jam. Otherwise I usually make jelly with a steamer. Thank you for the information . Using the spoon to stop the splatter is also a wise idea. Wanda thank you for sharing. I need to send $$$ to you for the Malabar Spinach seeds. What is your last name. I have the address. How much do I need to send. I can send a SASE to you to hold down the cost ppsting the seeds. Thank you in advance. Padre (Father) Claire
🤣🤣
I do the same with apple peelings--wow talk about a wonderful apple taste from what lots throw away but granny raised me well and to never waste food or anything. God bless and wish RUclips had=taste-o-vision lol
You will find most of the natural pectin in the apple peal and core. I have made liquid pectin this way.
I remembered that you had a video on peach peel jelly, and I was given a case of them. I hate waste, so here I am, making jelly. I will dehydrate the peels after extracting the juice and powder those to add to frosting and cakes. Thanks Wanda, I appreciate you! God Bless!
The juice from the canned peaches is great for ice tea... I just concentrate my tea and add the juice with extra water. So good. Thanks for sharing your recipe.
Amazing, getting both canned peaches and jelly from the same fruit. I eat that foam on buttered toast. So good.
So, this might help someone: I remember learning in a cooking class back in the day that the biggest cause of a jelly not setting up is accidental mis-measurement of the sugar. Be sure to dry measure the sugar, and wet measure the liquid. You can't use the same measuring cup for both (unless it has both measures). Cheers!
That is true.... but Surgel isn't working anymore. Use a cut up lemon and remove before canning will help.
While liquid and dry measuring cups do hold the same volume, the difference is that each is specially designed to do a better job of measuring its respective ingredients.
OMMA-LLAMA Why do we always have to add sugar? Sugar is so bad for us. It messes with insulin and feeds cancer cells. I wish there was a recipe for just peaches.
I grew up with grandma and mom using parafin wax to seal jams and jellys. then we would chew the wax as gum. we were poor.lol
Alicia McNamar we did the same. And if mold formed you scooped it out & gave to chickens.
Now we know better than to use and chew on petroleum based synthetic wax. We do know better, right?
You were rich with love and home cooking.

Thank you so much Mr. Danny and Ms. Wanda. Y’all are such a wealth of information. I have been watching y’all for almost two years now. I stumbled across y’all while I was looking for a squash canning recipe. I have been hooked ever since. My husband says I’m infatuated lol. Y’all are good people with common sense ways and beliefs. I just wanted to say thank you. Plus make some peach peel jelly🍑🥰🍑. Have a blessed day!
I realize you posted this video three years ago. But, I’ve just discovered your channel as I was searching for
jam and jelly making recipes and videos demonstrating the process. After nearly ten years of peach curl on
our tree and lots of other pests and deceases, we could count the peaches we got on our hands. This year,
It was a wonderful surprise to harvest about 100 sweet, mostly baseball size peaches. Making the most of
them was the least we could do.
Therefore, I wanted to say a great big “Thank You” for your peach jam and peach jelly from peels videos.
I made the jam with great success. It tastes wonderful !
I attempted to make the jelly and produced tasty syrup ! You said it happens to you also. Looking forward to
sharing with family and friends for the holidays.
Beautiful. Thanks so much for taking the time to do this. I do appreciate you doing this video. I'm definitely going to be doing this. Bless you both.
The smell of peaches is heavenly! The peach jelly is beautiful, Wanda and I am sure the taste is out of this world.
I have heard of using peach peelings for making jelly but I have never seen this demo started so this was so nice to see the process. I usually compost my peelings but now this is a better resource for my peelings! Thank you for sharing. Wendy❤️🐞🐝
This sounds wonderful and something I would love to make. Thanks for sharing the technique. 😘
I followed your instructions here and made some delicious peach jelly last summer! Now my peach tree is full of ripe peaches and I’m gearing up to do it all again. These make great gifts and I love how it doesn’t waste anything! Fantastic!
Oh my goodness. That looks SO good. It came out so clear, just wonderful.
This seems like a really great way to use up the leftover peels! I haven’t even thought of doing this. Thanks for the idea!
I can't help but think of the song lyrics "must be jelly 'cause jam don't shake like that"! LOL! Grown folks humor!!
3 cups of juice and 4 cups of sugar - whew!
What beautiful Peach Jelly. I always thought it would be hard to make Jelly, so I have always made Jam. But you just showed me how easy it is. Thank you. God Bless You Both.
I canned peaches, jam & jelly for the first time this past weekend. I have to agree, the peach smell is just wonderful!
Aww man! Oh well, next year make jelly out of those peelings. That is some good stuff! Really good spread over pound cake. :) I ended up doing 4 boxes of peaches, around 100 lbs or so.
That is gorgeous! And what a good idea to use peelings and get a bonus.
I'll have to try this... Thanks for taking your time to show us how it's done!! You guys are AWESOME!!
Thank you for Sharing. Wow after watching this I forgot how much I love canning.
I'm in canada and just learned to do canning peaches . I have a peach tree in my back yard I paid 10.00 for . Now it bears fruit. . I had a lot of fun learning this skill. Thanks for your help.
That’s some beautiful Peach Jelly. I planted two peach trees this year. I can’t wait to make Jelly 😊
Thank you! For make jelly video!!! I have never seen jelly made or made it myself! This was so exciting!
Beautiful color! Thanks for sharing this! My mouth is watering, yum!!!
I never would have thought to make jelly from peelings! The color is gorgeous! I bet the smell and taste is even better. I bet y'all can't wait to try a taste of summertime on a nice hot biscuit next January.
My aunt gave me 6 beautiful peaches, so I made a cobbler. I used the peels and your recipe and made the most incredible peach jelly. Thanks for sharing!!
Thank you my friend Ms Wanda will be doing this tomorrow. Looking forward to doing this method. Your knowledge is vast and I will try to do good.
When I was a child I remember my mother used to make a peach peel preserve it was delicious

We're still waiting for our young fruit trees to have their first fruit. Hopefully it will be this year. I love making canned fruits and jellies. Thanks for posting!

I live in Kentucky, BUT a gentleman in the country just brought in a truck load of peaches from down south, Needless to say its gonna be a Peach Jelly making day.. Thanks for the inspiration... Have a awesome day Wanda and Danny...
Yay! It jelled! Looks beautiful Wanda!
Gorgeous jelly! I just bought 1/2 peck of peaches to make preserves (my first time), and I would never have known to use the peach peels this way!
This brings back so many memories! Moma always did her peach jelly like this, using the peelings. Oh my goodness, that smell was delicious.

Thanks Wanda. God bless!
I love you both and may bless you I love watching you in the garden and the green house and the canning
Ooo my goodness that is a very pretty jelly. I can see that over chicken, pork chops, biscuits, waffles, and pancakes. Thank you for posting this!
Grace Chilcoat I’m thinking pork too
Wow I just canned about 15 lbs of peaches and just was so tired I composted the skins. Will have to try this jelly with the next batch. Nice to see you show how to let nothing go to waste. Love your channel.
Made tnis yezterday avter putting up 11 pints of diced peaches. Sure glad I seen your video so all the peels got used. Ended up with 7 cups juice. Froze 3 1/2 cups for later. Made and it started to get thick while cook9ng it. After filling 6 pi ts, tasted the spoon and WOW sure tasted good. Will definitely make again.
Thank you so much. Will check out your other videos to see what else I can do.
I just want to say thank you. I made this tonight. The peach peeling smelled good, putting that small amount of butter made it smell sooo good. I cannot wait to try it.
How much water did you use?
It has always bothered me to put those peelings in the compost. I was sure there was something - some great food that could be done with them. Now I know one! What I found amazing watching the video is that you were such an accurate judge of how much you'd end up with and what size jars you'd need. Making jam, I always have to sterilize an assortment of sizes to make sure I end up with the correct one. Then there's those times when some is left over - that's when I scramble for what to put the rest in - or make syrup for breakfast pancakes the next day.. Thanks for the great video.
The color of the peach jelly is pretty!
Just finished my peaches, going to freeze skin and do jelly tomorrow
Beautiful color. The jelly looks great!
This is a great idea. I will be saving my peach peels to make peach jelly/syrup.
Beautiful peach jelly. Makes me wanna just get some peaches and make some.
Beautiful! Why have I never thought of making jelly out of the peach peelings? Thanks, I know now! I'll be heating up the kitchen soon, gotta do blueberry anyway!
Pretty pinkish color, and now an orange color when finished.I love the white peaches.Going to find a Farmer's Market and try to find some flavorful ripe peaches this Summer. Can't find an Apple anymore in the stores that have a good apple taste to it.Thanks for teaching how to do this with the peach peelings, and all.Have a nice weekend you all.♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡....
You guys are great. Learning a lot . Thanks
Thanks for showing us how...great video.

Absolutely gorgeous peach jelly makes my mouth water just looking at it would be so good on a hot biscuit thank you for sharing God Bless
That is such a pretty color.
My mouth is sure watering.
Oh my look at that color!!! On my way ya'll. Lol...yum
Thanks for sharing. Love your videos.
great receipt thanks for sharing
What a great recipe. How much water did the peelings go into? This is a wonderful use of the peelings. We freeze fresh peaches yearly for cobblers... now we can use all those peelings for peach jelly. Thanks so much!
You are blessed to have a second bloom. Late frost got them here in Oklahoma .
I had just canned a lot of jars of peaches. I had wondered if something could be done about the peach water or the peels. I had just thrown them away. I am going to do a second round of peaches now, and will defiantly pick up some more small jam jars for this very purpose! Thank you!!!
I was wondering about using my peach water too.. after peeling my peaches I dropped them into a water and fruit fresh solution and now im left with this beautiful water that I'm tempted to use as the water I'm supposed to use to simmer the peach pits and peels.. think that would be ok or would the fruit fresh make the pectin fail or ruin the taste?
I liked watching you peel those peaches
They look awesome! God bless ! 🙏😃
Beautiful peach jelly
I make peach jam with flesh peach jelly with skins then i rescue skins dehydrate till crisp add sugar and skins into a salt grinder jar put onto ice ect
this was AWESOME!!!!
Save one to enter in you local fair! That's a blue ribbon winner for sure!
Beautiful!
I tell you what my aunt Marion may she rest in peace I used to love her peach jelly and it got to the point that you poured it on your bread it didn’t give or get like gelatin like you said ma’am it’s like syrup. Wow that was the best year by ever poured on bread lol thank you for the wonderful recipe.
Wow that's beautiful color
Looks delicious! I bet that will taste grat with that biscuit recipe you made for Danny. Peace and blessings.
Oh wow, I hate I don't have any peaches, or I'll make that right now!! Just made peach preserve from frozen peaches, turned out really good. Thanks for this video, it was very helpful.
Beautiful jelly!
Absolutely beautiful!!
Peach jelly is the bomb.
Those peaches look so good, I would have to pop about half those pieces directly into my mouth!
Made some jelly today following these recipes and I got to say my kids we're licking the spoon clean.
That looks so good
Did you get a chance to try the peach syrup I made for you??? Isn't it amazing how you get double the benefits from a harvest??? Thanks for sharing!!!
Not yet, but it is the next jar to open on my list. I am eating some vanilla peach jam that Brenda brought. Your syrup will be great for my pancakes in the next week or so when I finish the jam. Thanks Amanda
