Thanks for checking out the video. This was the initial ride for the 2022 CFMOTO Z-Force 950 HO EX. This was also the “break in” ride so keep in mind I did not push the machine to it’s limits. The goal was to give the machine a good shake down in a variety of situations to make sure everything was working as it should and get a bit of a feel for the new unit. I’ll likely put a little more millage and use on this unit before we take it out on a full out trail ride in the next couple of weeks and thrash it hard. I wanted to know what to expect and wanted to make sure there were no serious issues hiding. I wanted to get a bit of a baseline so I could gauge it capabilities. This way when I do take it out with the rest of the crew for it’s first beat down I will have an idea of what it can realistically attempt or handle. The true test will come after it gets a few good rides under it’s belt. For the most part, all machines work well brand new out of the box. What we want to know is how will it work in the longer term. Will it hold together or will we experience issues. If and when we do experience issues, what are they and how serious are they. It takes time to review a machine properly and anyone that claims they can do it in one ride has unrealistic expectations. Stay tuned, there will be more Z-force testing coming your way soon! Also, I will be posting a video of the custom roll cage build for the #BattleWagon 3.0 and the custom wrap installation. The next series of trail riding videos will also be hitting the channel soon. They will be from our trip to Tennessee this past March, so that will be entertaining for sure.

Both my machines climb hills way steeper than that without even engage the lockers. Great video though! CFMOTO doesn’t get the credit they deserve for their machines at the price point they sell for. You get a lot for what you pay and they are very capable for the average customer. Glad to see you testing out these machines.

Hey that wasn't a bad first run/ get a feel for it at all. Fun to watch! Mine did that once in my drive way, like it slipped out of gear. Made the hairs on my neck stand up 😅 . I could hear the clunking sound when you accelerate from a stop. Mine has been doing the same. Is that something with the clutch? I can't stand that. Other than those couple things I'm enjoying Mine and having fun. Almost 900Kms in a couple months of ownership. Lots of snap in high. Oh ya that low range limiter sucks. Something has to be done with that.

    1. Normal mode is there to take out the harshness/jerkiness of the throttle....has nothing to do with power, etc....just smooths the throttle out
    2. you mentioned you were going to test out the warranty, but also mentioned you plan to tune the clutches and put in a tune......I think this voids the warranty
    3. I think the override button will override the limiter in low and 4x4 low.....does not affect the limiter in diff lock though, at least on the 2023

Having. Rev limit in low range has gotta suck . I could see a speed limit but not Rev. My commander has that low range power reduction but it’s connected to how much throttle it allows . • @AdrenalineJunkieProd

It don’t think it’s a rev limit. It’s a wheel speed limit. So if you lose traction and your wheels spin it hits the limiter and just fits power. Then you have to totally lift your foot of the gas and hit it again before it gives power back. It’s a really odd setup. I think it’s stupid.

Power wise there is no comparison to a turbo machine. The turbo machines are monsters. They push you back in the seat and just rip, this thing can’t really be compared to that. The power band in this machine is very linear. With that being said it feels decent. In the wide open field it’s not super fast feeling but in the tighter trails between the trees it has way more then enough power to get you into trouble and feels pretty peppy. I do find it under steers quite a bit though. The under steer makes me lack the confidence to push it harder between the trees. I’m gonna mess with tire pressures and suspension settings a bit and see if that helps. I’ll also unhook the front sway bar and see how that makes it feel. I need to get it out on some better trails to really judge it.
