Married for over 45 years, Ron and Opal Erickson are a host couple for Hope Restored. About 15 years ago, Ron had a serious midlife crisis, going on a downward spiral that led to a relationship with another woman. He and Opal were estranged for about 18 months until he finally submitted his life to God. Their marriage was restored and now have a music ministry.
This comes at a crutial point in my life. Been standing for my marriage for 1 yr and a half always praying for a miracle of restoration but now tired of waiting but this is God's confirmation that He's not done yet and that his promises are true all the time.
I met these folks while I was there. They are two of the most wonderful people! God really did a miracle in their lives. Such a godly example of loving your spouse no matter what.
Thank you, it's so much my story. I'm currently in exile praying for us to reconsile. You really give me so much hope to just keep going on.

I'm at this point but it's past the fighting stage...now it's the avoidant, numb stage....thank you for sharing this! These stories at least let me know I'm not alone in this as a Christ believer.
Right now I am going through a similar thing with my wife. Pray for me and my family. I will trust and obey God all the way🙏🏿. These 2 people are so humble in each other the give the sense of oneness. God will continue to bless you two.

I’m not sure what’s going in my marriage it’s falling apart each day, my husband has went silent I’m not sure I’m praying but not sure what else to do. If we try to talk we immediately argue.. it’s sad overall. Thanks for this story you all shared.

Testimony of a wife who told her Pastor ¨ i can NOT live with my husband anymroe ! ¨ so the pastor said: Okay.. then let Christ live with him through you. You love has run out but you are dead and now Christ lives in you and He loves your husband.¨ no easy... of course... but as the sister said: ¨Just love him.¨ and you can letting Christ love him through you.
