Nice comparison. Based on using a number of point and shoots from the 90s, I get the feeling that many of the components in different cameras are actually the same. Mostly what differed were the design and combination of features which were subtle customizations from manufacturers. Many of the mid-range models and up are surprisingly good however.
Thanks for the comment! I think you are probably right. I have a Minolta and a Canon that I want to compare in a new video, though largely as the Minolta is broken and I want to alert users to the hazards of vintage photography. They are very similar visually.
