Maybe it's because I've been going through early 2000s nostalgia lately, but I like the pop punk/nu metal stuff just as much as the more old school stuff. Granted I'm glad this game has a balanced mix of both old and at the time modern tracks, so there's a little something for everyone. This game is part of what got me into Black Sabbath back in the day. But yeah it sucks that everyone looks back on pop punk and nu metal and thinks "ew what were we thinking?" cause I think it still holds up. It could just be the nostalgia talking of course. Also (I know, there's always an also) this level is the poster child for what's wrong with the levels in this game. Way too much empty space, not really much to do. Compare that to the first game where there's always a ramp or rail or a hill to trick off of, there's no shortage of ways you can score points. But with this level it's like they couldn't come up with any ideas. Maybe that's a testament to how bad of an idea it is to have a trainyard as your level, but I guess since Tony Hawk took dibs on all the good locations, Dave Mirra sorta got the table scraps. But idk I think there's still things they could have done, either to make this level more interesting or just different locations in general. Still, as bad as this level is, I don't think it's as bad as some of the levels in this game get.
Thanks for that information. I always preferred the version used in this game over any other version. And unfortunately that's what most radio stations and other forms of media tend to play. I will only listen to the version used in this game
I have over 25000 respect unlocked the 4th bike and than you land more smooth and eazely. its more fun than. I played woodward camp so mutch becouse of my crazy bike with Thodd.
Hah, I never bothered with the competitions. I couldn't figure them out either. I think you need to use a large amount of the level and do a lot of different tricks, and that's all i can say.
I know I’m super late to the party but you ever figure out the competitions? I got Gold in Woodward but I can’t even place in the Trainyard. Bikers are getting 99.7’s-95.3 for top 3. I can barely get 91.0 & it’s how many years later & still no videos on it, on RUclips lol
I played this game more than any other as a kid
Me too
Same

The Manual in Tony Hawk is Up and Down/Down and Up in quick sequence.
