While memberships are an awesome way for people to publicly endorse a channel, there has to be a healthy way for people to publicly criticize specific videos. Dislike counts have served that purpose for years. Please bring them back so the negativity doesn't funnel into other areas, like the comments section.

I have asked this SOOOOOOOO many times but can you please set up a way to give them early access to videos via the "Scheduled Upload"? This could be a two tiered system, one for members on for everyone else so we don't have to manually set the video to "Public" at a time after members have the early access?

You should disclose how much the creator will receive and how much youtube will keep. That info should be visible everywhere the amount is displayed, not hidden in help pages or as notes or legal stuff.

We're already seeing channels upload videos using a thumbnail that tricks people into clicking on a video. The viewer believes the thumbnail image occurs at some point in the video but never does. If only there was something like a visible dislike bar so the viewer wouldn't have wasted their time on clickbait

I like the Memberships, but YT needs to really improve the communication with/about members. I get no notification when someone joins or leaves. I have no automatic 'thank you' when someone joins or leaves. Y'all need to go look at Patreon, and -steal- adopt many of their features, and while you are there figure out how they do it for 5% instead of 30%. 😎

Don’t forget that the dislike counter is also very good for long video essay content too. Ones where the speaker’s opinions… and… views of the world are most often expressed. Videos that’ll perhaps take a long while to find something potentially abhorrent in them.
Hi. I appear to be "SHADOW BANNED" and my RUclips channels reach totally limited. 150 quality vids and just TEN SUBSCRIBERS! All of them FRIENDS! The question is WHY am I being Shadow Banned?? If I or any RUclipsr has breached a RUclips guideline, then you should tell us what we have breached. Otherwise we are CREATING endless videos that will NEVER be seen by anybody without us knowing WHY. Very DEPRESSING and undoubtedly would lead to great FRUSTRATION and even many Suicides. So please tell us if we have BREACHED RUclips guidelines and HOW we can circumvent those breaches in future ... I'm just an ageing NOBODY in my LAST decade of life trying to put my CREATIVITY out to the WORLD as a DIGITAL LEGACY. Thankyou

We're already seeing channels upload videos using a thumbnail that tricks people into clicking on a video. The viewer believes the thumbnail image occurs at some point in the video but never does. If only there was something like a visible dislike bar so the viewer wouldn't have wasted their time on clickbait
Shortly (no pun intended),They will remove the option to comment on videos, and it will only be possible with RUclips Premium

What a useful button with a great function! You know what button also is nice to press when it has a function? You guessed it! THE DISLIKE BUTTON WOULD REALLY BE NICE IF IT ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING
Bring back the dislike button. Any possible benefit is greatly outweighed by the cons. This is sacrificing user experience for no gain on the part of the user. It's so incredibly annoying, and honestly flat out shows the lack of care that you have for the opinions of your users.

I like the Memberships, but YT needs to really improve the communication with/about members. I get no notification when someone joins or leaves. I have no automatic 'thank you' when someone joins or leaves. Y'all need to go look at Patreon, and -steal- adopt many of their features, and while you are there figure out how they do it for 5% instead of 30%. 😎
You can also do that for small good creators that want some type of a hype.. so they can upgrade thier Yt channel and make moneywithout having 1k+ or 4000 watch time .. thanks for reading this.
