Where the hell did you get the dialogue from the beginning of the video because I'm 95% sure I haven't heard it in the whole serie
It was the deleted dialogue from the original scene in 9x15. It was aired on the MUAM podcast following the ep.
They should have left it in the eps. But that’s just me! Thanks for the video, great as always
@@bethanne1221 thanks! 🥰 I think they should’ve left the part I included in this video, but I’m very glad that they cut the part where he said “gabby is my past…and you’re my now.” Definitely hated the you’re my now cuz it made it seem like he’s only into Brett cuz Gabby was gone LOL. The way they cut it on the show was way better than the “you’re my now” part 😂
@@itshauteoutside Ok .. so the dialogue was part of the conversation at the end of episode 15 where Casey finally talks to Brett, right?
I think now I love more the official conversation of the episode, the dialogue is good and describes his current situation very well but in a real conversation it sounds like Casey trying to convince to Brett that she should love him just because don't have anyone else
What he said in the episode is better because it is the answer to Brett's question at the end of episode 2, but at this moment in addition to answering he is saying it to himself, he is finally accepting his own feelings with WORDS, plus I also love how I ended the "Gabby is my past ..." I always felt that Casey was trying to say to Brett that she was his future but I am glad that they don´t say it directly because it would be too much pressure and it would end up forcing her to want what he wants
That is why I not consider that there was a confession in 9x15 or 9x16 but rather each one finally accepting their own feelings which had been denied for so long that was its last road block his fear to themselves and now there is nothing that prevents them from being together and be happy.
@@kinghunter8247 100%. The way they cut it on the show is still my preferred sequence. I would’ve liked the added dialogue in this video only because I would’ve wanted to see him saying this to her since this is most likely the scene that was caught in the BTS vid that went around where he had his hands on his head, like he was frustrated that it took him this long to realize it. The break after he says “Gabby is my past…and you….” Definitely sounded like he was going to say “you’re my future” but the fact that he didn’t but you can see his lips quivering, almost because he’s so overcome by his fear of being so open and vulnerable to her that he can’t quite say it. But instead just chose to be completely honest and say, “im in love with you…and nobody else.” That whole sequence was perfect. He answered her question definitely. He didn’t just say I love you, but instead gave her the closure that she needed which has been lingering over her for far too long.
Why did you put all those scenes pre-season 7, I understand that their past relationships were meaningful and helped them grow in one way or another to finally be ready for the one, but it's frustrates the idea that they were wasting their time in relationships with no future when they could be happy together long time ago
P.S. I just noticed that the Dawsons are terrible in relationships, literally all there ended up divorced is a little sad and at the same time kind of funny

Simply put, I included them because I wanted to lol.
I can understand how you viewed those clips. However, it’s not how I see it. Regardless of who they were with at the time, those clips represented glimpses of their journey to where they are now. They started out as co-workers, then to friends because everyone at the firehouse is close, then to better friends because of their connection to Gabby, then to best friends after Gabby left them, which then led to them falling in love with each other.
My intent wasn’t to imply that they bided their time in their former relationships and stayed miserable. On the contrary, it’s to show that even before they developed romantic feelings for each other, they were in each other’s lives. They were friends. They shared these moments. The irony is that they didn’t know what the future held for them and what they would become, but the foundation of their friendship was already there from the beginning. They work well now because of that same friendship. They just didn’t know at the time that their friendship would be the reason why they ultimately would become “it” for each other.
That’s why I chose to include them. Hopefully you can understand that.
It’s ironic that the Dawsons were supposed to be this big, happy, stable family…and then the parents and the children all ended up divorced lol. It just goes to show that some problems really can’t be solved and even the ones that seemed meant to be won’t necessarily last. They all had their fair share of problems and it just seemed like none of them knew how to really work through them unfortunately.

My comment was mostly me draining or unloading my frustration at seeing 2 of my favorite characters in relationships with characters that I really don't like very much,
Maybe I could sound tough but it was something more sarcastic actually it see me like a somewhat funny comment

Yeah I feel a little bad for the Dawson's because I remember episode 100 with the wedding and Antonio saying that this relationship was going to work but in the end they ended up like the others
But the Dawsons never was of my favorite characters and I just laugh to the irony
@@kinghunter8247 no worries! Whether or not it was criticism, I’m happy to talk about anyone’s point of view so I definitely don’t take it personally. I love comparing diff POV’s and I get the frustration. I always loved the idea of Matt and Sylvie from very early on in season 3 only because they seemed to be very similar - personality wise - compared to the fire and ice type of romance he had with Dawson. And then when Sylvie and Gabby became better friends, it just became more and more apparent that Matt and Sylvie were definitely a better match. But them getting together when they did was just the perfect time, in my opinion. They both needed to go through all their drama, relationship issues, and trauma in order to really figure out the type of partner that they need and now both of them are at a good point in their lives to know the difference of how their love is pure, unconditional, and honest. I’m excited for their future journey together.
Yeah, I was never big on either Dawson. And then they just had SO much family drama that it just became an annoying plot point that seemed to further divide Dawson and Casey. And the irony of Antonio’s divorce being the catalyst of his first breakup with Sylvie…again revolving around family drama….the parallels are just too strong lol.
