This is clearly a song about being stuck in some type of abusive relationship with a narcissist. I use to listen to this song religiously during the time I was in one with my childs dad and let me tell you! Therapy therapy therapy! Still will never get back the self esteem I had its really hard to reclaim it and to see the person you were before they torn you to pieces from physical appearance to your emotional wellbeing.
