I LOVE THIS SONG SO FUCKIN MUCH!!! I LOOOOOVED the original back in 1975 and when I heard my favorite producers and remixers were part of this I was so fuckin over the top happy. One of my FAVORITE club songs of 1989 and through 1990.

Newton's version was actually Des Dyer, the original Jigsaw vocal. Milli Vanilli style lol

It's not. This is a remix of the original Jigsaw verson. It was re-recorded by Des Dyer (from Jigsaw) under that moniker for the Love That Record label he was involved with, but it was so huge, they had to hire a guy, Billy Myer, to "be" Newton. That guy then recorded several 1970s covers, HiNRG style. There are two videos for the Newton verson, the first on features shots of Dyer.
