Wonderful perspective and nice practical examples on Samplers Circle Mode. Thank you 🌻

great video, don't forget you can make the sampler window full screen ;) it would be easier for us old folks to see what you're doing

Good tip. I never think to use the zoom functionality in the sampler.

The layering works really well here. It would be so cool if we could have the granular options as an fx too (with a ring buffer). Thanks for sharing and the nice explanation of how the modes are linked.

Awesome Polarity! You're so in-tune (pardon the pun lol) with Bitwig and it's features. I'm especially fond with your Poly/Note Grid videos on Bitwig.

I think that sound pads are very straightforward in a pitch. I would say - they are too tonal, although have very nice "living" modulation of texture base! It will be nice to add some simple little delayed vibrato to a some cents unipolar way! but, surely, this is a completely matter of taste! anyway nice stuff to learn - as usual!

I get Red Dead Redemption 2 flashbacks from these sounds 😊
Also: "Instead of the textures mode we can just use the cycles mode, which does exactly the same thing."
-> Where do you know this from? Where does everybody have so much "inside knowledge" from, lol? Are there some must-have basics-about-synths books i should read?

It's probably not quite right: the cycles mode changes the playback speed of the grain/cycle to create pitches, and my texture method was changing the grain size to change the pitch. Which is different and probably sounds a bit different, but kind of the same idea (looping small parts of a waveform)

I made a comment suggesting something a lot like this very recently...

Of course my suggested application was growl bass...😅

it does work with growl basses too yes, very well actually
