Wonderful production. Thank you so much for sharing! Always thought Troyanos was the perfect Santuzza, but Anita has possibly done better. The entire cast did a fantastic job.

Cavalleria Rusticana si svolge in un paesino della Sicilia alla fine dell'800... dove sono le scenografie e i costumi dell'epoca? Cantanti ottimi, tutto il resto decisamente penoso e fuori luogo
Ottimo cast e pessimo risultato di regia inutile e fintamente moderna! Ma se non hanno idee li facciano cantare in forma di concerto, meglio per tutti! Oramai modernizzare è solo fare messe in scena ridicole e per niente credibili! Bella e sontuosa l’orchestra, ottimo il direttore!

I like the idea that Alfio kills both Turiddu and his unfaithful wife, Lola. But the production as a whole is a mess that makes no sense from a visual point of view. Did the designer actually read the libretto?
I starter to listen to the music but when i sow the first scene…..i changed!!! What the devil has to do this kind of rappresentation with the mascagni opera! Shame shame shame!!!
