+sangarp2001 You don't need a resistor if you want to have fried LEDs.
+theGreenLine To avoid fried LEDs we connect a resistor to reduce current and voltage right? How come it is the opposite here?
Output from 4017ic pins is for me about 5mA so thats why i guess
