On behalf of all of us old timers who've been in the radio hobby for 50-plus years, I thank you, Mr. BBi, for these fabulous interviews. You, along with those you've interviewed, have made a major contribution to preserving the rich history of CB/11 meters. Simply excellent. I can hardly wait to see what comes next! Keep up the good work.
The first breaks I went to in the 90's and met all these folks I listened to and talked to on the radio was a very pleasant surprise. They all have a good-hearted competitive spirit. Good as gold folks, loved the costumes and all the antics at the breaks too, was a lot of fun and entertaining.
Mr BBI thank you for what you do for the cb Community, and by keeping the hobby alive with interviews like this very cool. The little duck out here in a big pond wanted to tell Mr 766 thank you for taking the time to share his stories with us. Again thank you both!!
As a kid growing up in Ohio I use to listen to my dads radio and always would hear 766 and switch blade, now i talk with them on the radio, I love it, I love that you take the time to do these interviews, it’s awesome hearing legends tell their stories, thank you for doing this and thank you to all of the radio operators willing to do this, it means a lot to me, 261 Canyon Hopper southeast Utah waving a hand
766 has the strongest signal I've ever seen into Sydney Australia a true 30+ back in 1990 and I was only using stock mobile radio and a 1/2 wave antenna listening from home, I happened to be recording on cassette at the time. He was saying " look at that DB, look at that DB that I'm putting out,I am the king the big man,big man Northern Cal got down!" He is the boss of all bosses that's for sure.
Sir, this is the bees knees right here. Thanks for taking the time to do this. This is important and nothing but thumbs up from me. Can’t say thanks enough for taking time out of your schedule to give back to the community and have this documented. Such incredible stuff right here man. This stuff is almost available nowhere else. Everyone needs to take time out of their day to put the microphone down, stop talking, and just listen to these legends.
Watching all these video interviews it's awesome, thank you for taking the time to recorded this history and sharing with us. Greetings from Pennsylvania.
I really want to thank you for this interview with Mr 766. I Know it takes a lot to get out there and make these interviews happen. I wasn't expecting to get drawn in and enjoy it so much. You can go live on RUclips and add people to your Livestream to interview. Just an idea to save some travel time.
