Even her speaking voice is musical; mellow and lilting in her special way.
Only recently very gratefully discovered Darlene Love, her powerful beautiful voice, and not least her pretty smile. Another all star American musical legend. Thanks Darlene for all your wonderful songs that continue to delight the ears and excite the mind!
I've loved Darlene's voice since I first heard "He's a Rebel." For me her smile lights up the room. So glad to see someone else thinks so, too.

inane interviewer. She seems ill-prepared to interview a star of this magnitude. Get it together, honey! I watched 2 minutes of this amateur hour interview and that's enough. Darlene Love is royalty. By the sound of this "interview" you would think she is some forgotten oldies act.
Wonder why she made it seem like she started with BobBSox rather than the Blossoms. Weren't the Blossoms her first group. She never mentioned them
maybe because The Blossoms never had a really big hit. just guessing...

@@SuperBeachbum74 the Blossoms were formed in the 1950s. Darlene love was not in the original lineup but replaced one of the members in the late 50s and was designated as the lead singer of the group. Shindig started in 1964. BobBsox and the Bluejeans were formed in the early 1960s and consisted of Bobby Sheen and two of the 3 Blossoms, Darlene love and Fanita James.
